My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

About Us

At INTEGRITY Design Studio, we specialize in redesigning spaces -- whether you're going for a simple makeover or knocking down walls and starting fresh. We begin with a vision and inspiration, and bring it to life with our full spectrum of interior architecture and design services, working closely with you to make it a fun and rewarding experience for both of us. Hi, I’m Carol Borowski, owner and founder of INTEGRITY Design Studio, and we recently relocated our main office to Santa Ynez, but will continue to service the greater Thousand Oaks area as well. Unlike most interior design firms, mine is not named after me … because it isn’t about me — it’s about you, your space, what you like, and how it makes you feel. It’s about the integrity of the design and the process and the people it takes to get the job done right. My mission is simple: To help you get past those barriers that are stopping you from living and working in spaces that enable you to feel settled and happy, productive and relaxed.

Carol is great to work with, she kept deadlines, was responsive when I needed her, and kept a keen eye on the budget for me. I hired Carol to do the plans for my kitchen remodel. She offered up many great ideas, and also listened to mine. I highly recommend Carol.

Carol at Integrity Design is awesome. We needed a significant remodel on our challenging house and Carol brought her great eye for design, listened to our wants and needs, and came up with a great design with various options, all with a sensitivity to our budget. Her 3D CAD imaging allowed us to have a visual preview of how the various rooms would ultimately look. She is accessible and really easy to work with. Recommend Carol highly.

We hired Carol to help us design and implement a complete remodel of our house. Her designs were original and fresh. She helped with all aspects of the project, working closely and seamlessly with our general contractor and subs. She was especially impressive on the kitchen remodel where she came up with an innovative design that dramatically improved the aesthetics and functionality of the space. She was professional, attentive, creative and easy to work with. Highly recommended.

We hired Carol to do some design work for our upcoming remodel project and are very happy with what she did for us. We had some significant structural and design challenges due to our “unique” floor plan but Carol came up with some clever and unique ideas that we are very happy and excited about. Carol is not only a pleasure to work with but she is a very talented designer who we whole heartily recommend.

Carol Borowski is wonderful to work with! She has great taste and great ideas of her own. I have always admired her designs but she also listens to what the customer likes and wants. She was great at giving me what I wanted and helped guide me in things I didn’t know I wanted but loved. She is very professional. I can’t recommend her enough!

Carol is the designer appreciated by all on a project. What makes her different to the many designers I know is that she listens. She then injects her design magic after learning about the clients and sometimes contractors needs. She is straight to the point with no BS. We used Integrity Design Studio for our kitchen remodel. Carol made the whole process simple and stress free. We replaced all of our countertops and backsplash, redesigned and enlarged our island and added lighting. Carol knew exactly the look we wanted and helped us navigate the seemingly endless material choices. The professionals she sent were all excellent. We are extremely happy with the finished product and would absolutely use Integrity Design Studio again.

We worked with Carol on our master bedroom & bathroom remodel. We did not have a large amount of space to work with but she was able to come up with a new floor plan that was not only more efficient but also managed to make our bedroom, bathroom and closet each feel much larger without actually gaining any square footage. In addition to the structural plans, she helped us interview contractors, pick materials and paint colors. She was always accessible and happy to help. We love the way our master turned out and would love to work with Carol again on any future projects.
