Excellent job! We love our new open concept and brand new kitchen. We were very pleased with the whole process, and their crew is the best! The communication aspect of it also needs to be noted, as we always were in contact and felt like we were heard.

Cyndy and her team with C&L Contracting and Design did a fantastic job drawing up the plans and then updating our 20 year old maple kitchen (+ powder room and laundry room) leaving most of the original cabinets intact (painting and adding a peninsula) while replacing the tile (floor and backsplash), countertops and updating the lighting to transform our kitchen into an area that we love and have rec'd many compliments! She was very good at listening to what we wanted when drafting the plans and during the project welcomed all the changes we requested to ensure that we ended up with everything we wanted along with very fair pricing. She worked closely with her contractor's checking in on the project almost daily to ensure the work was completed timely and in a very quality manner. I would strongly recommend C&L Contracting and Design and could not be happier with the finished results!

Overall, we had a very positive experience with our kitchen renovation. Ms. Qualia was well-organized and kept a tight schedule. She provided a project specification book, so all the tradesmen were aware of the expectations and scope of work when they were on-site. She kept us informed and updated during the entire project. There were a few bumps in the road, and we are in the process of resolving the last bit, but we do recommend C&L Contracting and Design.

We highly recommend C&L Contracting and Design! Cyndy and her team did an excellent job transforming our dull master bathroom into a beautiful oasis. Our new shower is absolutely marvelous and twice the size of the old one and the travertine walls with the stone floor is absolutely beautiful. From the tub to the new vanities Cyndy helped us select each element to yield the exact look and feel we were seeking. I cannot say enough about how great it was to work with the whole team!

Thank you so much Cyndy for all your help in renovating my moms house after it flooded during Hurricane Harvey! You helped my mom understand what really needed to be replaced and why. You/your team worked hard to make the extra added changes we wanted. I mostly wanted to thank you for checking on her so quickly after the flood, since you had worked with her with the other storm. Because of the storm, I couldn't leave my house to check on her. It made me feel better that someone cared besides family.Cyndy has remodeled the house twice due to storm flooding. She also took the time to keep me informed of what was going on so I could help my mom make decisions. Thanks for your care/expertise! The house is beautiful!!!

I would recommend this Company to anyone! Very professional and communicated with me throughout the whole project. They stayed within budget and the work that was done was exceptional. The work was finished within the time frame that we were given. C&L Contracting and Design is definitely the company you want to use for your remodel!

We hired Cyndy after we flooded from Hurricane Harvey and all I can say is stay away from this company. Cyndy is very unprofessional and has no clue what she is doing. Cyndy feels as if she has to be in control of everything. One of the plumbers was talking to me and she yelled at them and told them not to talk to me that I don't make the decisions. Her crew was doing things incorrect and I told her that I can google the right way and Cyndy responded google doesn't do the work does it. The incident that caused me to fire her she got in my face and was screaming and yelling at me and ending up spitting in my face. I cannot express enough to stay away from Cyndy and her company. All-in-all I had to part ways with her and lost money because I had to have work redone that her crew couldn't do the right way.

Cindy is very professional and is upfront about everything that is going on with your home. You know exactly where all of your money is going and there are no surprise costs. She was regularly on site to check on the progress during the renovation. The work crew was very professional and were always there when they said they would be. Our job was completed beautifully and in the time frame that was agreed on. If I have any other remodeling needs, I will contact C & L.

We are very happy, proud, and pleased with our “new” kitchen. It is beautiful, functional, and comfortable. Our family and friends are amazed at the difference. We were impressed with the way Cyndy of C&L Contracting and Design worked with us and her trades people to achieve a high quality result within time and budget constraints. We have completely remodeled two previous kitchens ourselves (DIYers). My husband and I are both comfortable with software and current technology. So we know the work involved. I have refined my requirements through those experiences, so I “knew what I wanted.” Cyndy listened to me about what we wanted to achieve, and what we liked and envisioned. She worked with our ideas and constraints, and was considerate of budget, providing several options from which to choose to achieve our desired results. She is comfortable with current design software to provide a preview of how the ideas will look. She is comfortable using all current modes of communication technology (text, email, phone, communications pages at the job site) and was responsive to customer messages in a timely manner—usually really quickly. She displayed good rapport with her trades people (demolition/construction/painting, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, countertops, and tile), and they produced quality work for her (and therefore us). The job site was maintained in as clean a manner as can be during construction. She visited the job site at the start of each day to address any concerns from the communication pages and any message we left via text, email, or phone from the previous day and got the crew going. She is very considerate of their time as well as customer labor costs. We highly recommend that you consider using C&L Contracting and Design for any home remodeling (especially kitchen and bath).

Complete remodel of kitchen and guest half-bathroom. After 24 years in the house, we decided to redo the kitchen and half-bath. We were thinking granite, but Cyndy convinced us that Silestone looks as good or better and requires significantly less maintenance for a similar price. Summary: Completed on time, budget differences were minor and carefully documented. Minor issues after completion were addressed in a timely manner. Carlos was our first interaction with actual work being done. He tore out the existing cabinets, built some extra supports for our new larger oven, painted, and did general touch-up. He was GREAT - personable and professional. Able to do pretty much anything. The rest of the folks who worked on the project were professional and competent, except for some installation issues by the guys who put in the appliances. Cyndy sent a guy around as soon as possible after the project was finished, and he took care of it in a single visit. Over the course of the project, Cyndy worked closely with us on selection of fixtures, colors, etc. Per our original agreement, we selected and bought the appliances ourselves, and had them delivered in boxes for C&L's subcontractors to install, Cyndy having made sure everything would fit with the cabinets based on the specifications we gave her. We also wound up buying the faucets and a few odds and ends ourselves; she kept close track in the budget and made the final adjustments accurately. We now have 21st century stainless steel appliances, nice cabinets with soft close doors and slide-out drawers, LED undercounted lighting, travertine tile backsplash, and fresh paint instead of our 1990-vintage wallpaper. Job well done.

We were very pleased with our kitchen remodeling experience with C&L Contracting and Design. Cyndy Qualia spent many hours with us in the design phase to help us get as close to our vision as possible within our budget. During construction, she was very attentive to detail and was present at the site frequently to oversee the subcontractors' work. She kept us informed of what she needed from us and when, and she was responsive to and patient with our questions and concerns. We especially liked her ability to suggest various options to achieve the desired result, both during the design phase and as issues arose during construction. Also, there were no surprises regarding cost. Cyndy let us know from the beginning and throughout the project what the costs would be, including added costs for extra work. While some other contractors might have been able to do the job for less, the positive experience we had with Cyndy was well worth the expense. The kitchen project was our best construction/remodeling experience to date (and we have been through several). We would highly recommend C&L Contracting and Design to others.

Had our kitchen countertops and cabinets replaced due water damage. Excellent experience working with C & L. All work due as promised and on time. Have no complaints.
