Cindy provided creative guidance on the renovation of a kitchen project. However, Cindy was not transparent with her fees. I was surprised to have been asked to write a check to her for the cost of quartz countertops without her itemizing the actual cost of the materials and labor to the vendor for the quartz countertops, and her fee since the check was payable to her. Then, when the project was close to completion, she submitted to me a second invoice for her services. When I asked her to explain how she made her calculations she responded with 'that's how it's done'. Not very professional.

In preparing to enhance the value of our home, prior to selling it, we hired Cindy choose updated paint colors (interior & exterior), make staging recommendations and assist in hiring professional subs to complete the work. This particular project was primarily painting, but Cindy also recommended exterior lighting upgrades. It takes a keen eye to recognize what is trending, and also what SELLs. Are house was under contract just 6 days after being listed. Since that time, Cindy has provided us excellent paint and design choices for our new home. She's work every penny!

Cyndy Merrick is a talented, creative designer who worked hard to solicit my design preferences and implement them! She kept in touch with me about progress, brought in her design/installation team at our appointed time, sent me out of the house, then brought me back for the big, dramatic reveal! I have used Cindy on the last 5 higher end houses I have renovated. She provides specific design ideas for the kitchens, baths and main rooms. She picks all colors for exterior and interior. She has an exceptional eye for detail, colors and layout. When complete, I use her staging service to maximize the overall experience for potential buyers. She always pushes me to incorporate the latest trends in interior design into my work. I wouldn't consider renovating a house without her doing all of the design work. I hired interior designer, Cynthia Stipe Merrick, back in 2010 to oversee a complete make-over of my master bath and bedroom. She transformed the bath into a spa oasis (complete with claw-foot tub) and the master bedroom into a warm, inviting French boudoir. I absolutely loved coming home to my new haven! When I moved in March 2014, I hired Cynthia once again to help me decorate my new home. She not only helped me place my furniture and accessories so they look great in the new space, but she also gave the home a facelift, replacing the outdated with up-to-date furnishings and accessories. What a difference! I didn't think I could love a home any more than I did my first, but I was wrong. With Cynthia's help, I am even more enamored with my new home. When I walk in the door, I immediately relax and feel at home. When others walk in, they typically gasp and then rave about the décor. She is also the only decorator I have ever worked with that is more cost-conscious than her customers! I plan to ask Cynthia to decorate every one of my homes, no matter where I end up! I give her the absolute highest possible rating and would recommend her to anyone looking for decorating assistance - no matter what your style or budget.

Cindy is excellent at what she does. She has a gift for choosing the right color palates and does an excellent job of incorporating that into her design work. She is also very good at capturing the personality of her client in the home. She is very mindful of the client's budget and is always looking for great deals. Cindy is extremely creative and you can always expect the unexpected in her work . However, it never feels forced! She works very well with her clients. she has no problem getting along with people. Everyone loves her.

Cindy did a fabulous job updating our office to a more inviting environment for both the employees and clients. All of our employees have enjoyed the color and light that has been brought to our space. In addition, we now have a modern and contemporary flair which fits perfectly! Cindy updated the entire inside of our house. New paint colors, curtains and furnishings. We didn't realize how great it would look and wish we would have done it years ago!
