Grenz Construction did a wonderful job on our house. This was our first custom home and we couldn’t be happier with the whole process. Chris and his whole team were easy to work with. He had multiple suggestions for the project and always kept our budget in mind. We were consistently made aware of what stage our house was in and our time frame for completion. As with any home construction, there were some minor hiccups but that is unavoidable. It also put our mind at ease knowing that he was a third generation builder in the area. All in all a terrific experience.

We were searching for our "dream-home" somewhere in the Folsom/Granite Bay/El Dorado Hills area. We found it here in Serrano in a Grenz-built home. Prior to entering into a sales contract, we looked at reviews on Houzz and then spoke with local real estate people and title company personnel who had lived in the area for many years and who knew the Grenz family, personally. I contracted with Grenz Homes Inc. for two large-scale projects and was extremely pleased with the results. In 1998, they built my 2,300 sq. ft. home in Granite Bay. In 2016, they finished an extensive remodel of my home in Lincoln. In both cases, all the work was professionally executed and finished within the contracted time. Chris is reliable and so easy to work with that by the end of both projects he felt like family. We purchased a new custom Grenz home in 2003. The quality of design, materials, craftsmanship and attention to detail is excellent and far exceeded other custom homes we toured. Even other builders who have visited our home have commented on the excellence of Chris's work.
