Bob Walker and his team undertook a number of jobs in the home we just moved into. These included re-arranging kitchen cabinetry, building steps off our deck, fine-tuning and enlarging our laundry and garage access, installing doors on our den and most importantly, building an all new master bath. Through all these jobs, Construct's employees and sub-contractors were professional, on-time and clean. All the jobs took approximately 3 months to complete and came in on budget. We were very pleased with the experience.

Stephen Ross is a superb manager and co-owner, and runs his jobs professionally, with integrity, and on-time. He is a good communicator and works with excellent subcontractors. His carpenter Jim Hart was my lead on my most recent job with Construct, and I cannot say enough good things about his attentiveness to detail, quality of work, and ease of interaction. When I do my next renovation, I know who will choose!

Stephen Ross is who I mainly work with at Construct Associates. He is always on call when something goes wrong, and usually helps coordinate subs within the day I call. Construct Associates has a very tight knit group of subs and contractors, and everyone responds in a professional and efficient manner. One of the projects included replacing all the mechanics on a five story building and gutting the main floor into a beautiful loft gallery space. Over the last five years, we have replaced all the new boilers. Their ability to work with you is impressive, and also very important when there are so many projects in the air. I often recommend Construct Associates to anyone looking for a reputable design-build firm.

We consulted with and hired Bob Walker and the crew at Construct to help us update our kitchen and create a combined kitchen/family room within an older home we purchased. From the first contact to the final finishing touches, everything worked out wonderfully. Bob and Michael LaMothe helped us with every step of the design phase, even making great suggestions when we were indecisive. The demo and construction was very efficient, with Bob and Terry staying in contact with us during each step and explaining their work and any issues as they went along. Everything was right on time and on budget, and the final product was exactly what we hoped it would be. We look forward to working with Construct again, and we would certainly highly recommend them.

I first hired Construct in 1994 for a complete renovation. I purchased my home at the very end of April and, despite the extent of work being done, I was in as promised by late summer. Over the intervening years, Construct has been my go-to contractor for all projects large and small and each time they hit it out of the park. Because of this long-term relationship, I have had the opportunity to work with both Bob Walker and Stephen Ross as GCs, Michael LaMothe as designer and most of their extremely talented carpenters as well as their terrific office staffers, Kim and Cindy. Each interaction has included trust, professionalism, vision and fun! Construct has been instrumental is making my house not only my home but an artistic delight.

We hired Bob Walker for design and renovation of our new home, which had not been updated for decades. It was an extensive project involving demolition of multiple chimneys, walls, and building a new kitchen, family, dining, and mud room. There were also multiple other projects to help update the house. Bob Walker and his lead carpenter, Terry Heffernan, ran the project like a well oiled machine, their extensive experience showed: they were efficient, timely, and the work was of the highest quality. They were professional, courteous, and extremely clean. Even our neighbors mentioned how professional, clean, and pleasant they were during the months of construction. Everyone on site had a positive attitude, and the carpenters were a pleasure to interact with. Terry is a talented craftsman and great guy to have running the day to day intricacies of the job. Bob consistently kept us updated and aware of how we were doing with budget, providing written examples via spreadsheets. They are a very honest company. This was our first renovation experience, and Construct never made us feel naive or intimidated. Bob was happy and able to explain issues thoroughly, and clearly showed expertise. I feel as if Bob and Terry took on the role of mentors during this new experience for our family, and I am very thankful that we found and used Construct. I look forward to working with Bob and Terry again for any and all of our future projects! *I am appending this review now that I have been living in the renovated space for a few months: I was recently preparing, cooking, and cleaning a few big meals and loving the flow of my process; I realized that my kitchen is EXACTLY the way I envisioned it, with additional bonuses that I didn't even think of originally. Bob and Michael LaMothe, the designer, truly took my needs and wishes and made them a reality. I am so happy in this space!

Bob Walker and Michael LaMothe helped us update a 1968 split level in 2014. We removed the outdated kitchen from the top of the stairs and relocated it to a 3-season porch that was rarely used, allowing us to take advantage of the lush view behind the house. The old kitchen space was then converted into a second full bathroom, cook's pantry, and extra floor space in the living area. Terry Heffernan was the lead carpenter on the job and he is an incredible craftsman and all-around great guy to have in your house 5 days a week for 4 months. The whole crew has been very kind, respectful, and pleasant to gave around. We enjoyed working with Bob, Michael, and Terry so much that we've hired them again to remodel the rest of the house.

Construct did an extensive home renovation for us--knocking out a wall, installing built-in cabinets and window-seat storage units, and replacing the entire first floor tile/carpet with wood floors. They were exactly on time in every stage of the project, kept us informed about progress, told us what to expect and when to expect it, and finished a bit early. The house looks wonderful.

Construct associates, provided us with a wonderful garage, and stress free build. Best construction/renovation experience we have been a part of or witnessed.
