Our remodel was an extensive project that included: Converting a family room into a primary suite with a walk-in closet and attached bath. Reinforcing the foundation to accommodate the demolition of a load-bearing wall. A full kitchen and bathroom remodel. Replacing all flooring throughout the home. A complete garage remodel. Replacing exterior wood siding shingles with stucco. The hardest part of any major renovation is choosing a general contractor. It is a massive investment, and we wanted someone we could trust with our hard-earned money and our vision for quality. Construction By Meyers (CBM) stood out immediately. Unlike others, they proved their long-standing license and took the extra step of connecting us with prior customers. This allowed us to see their work in person and hear honest feedback—no strings attached. CBM truly understands that the customer journey begins long before a contract is signed. Once we started, the design phase was seamless. Our designer was incredible; she listened to our conflicting ideas over multiple sessions and patiently revised the renderings until every detail was perfect. Having designs made the overwhelming process of choosing finishes so much easier. We remodeled to modernize our home and improve its functionality for our specific needs. I am so glad we chose CBM; seeing our dreams move from a screen to our actual walls and floors was exciting. The end result not just matched the original designs but exceeded our expectations as it looked better in person. Their quality and craftsmanship is amazing. We recently completed a remodel of my parents’ apartment with Meyers, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. We were referred by a friend who had a great experience earlier this year, and we’re so glad we followed that recommendation. Ivy, our designer, was fantastic to work with. She listened carefully to our needs, offered thoughtful and practical design suggestions, and was always quick to respond to questions. Her attention to detail and ability to translate our ideas into a cohesive design made the process stress-free and enjoyable. The construction phase was equally well managed. Rod and Taylor communicated clearly throughout the project and kept everything moving efficiently. When a neighboring unit experienced a plumbing issue related to our water shutoff, the team handled it promptly and professionally, while being very considerate of the neighbor’s schedule. We are very pleased with the final result and highly recommend Meyers to anyone looking for a professional, responsive, and well-organized remodeling team.

I would like to put in a strong recommendation for Construction by Meyer for house remodeling. We were looking for a design-build firm in which the process from (interior) design to final construction would be integrated and seamless. That is exactly what we got! The team listened to our remodel needs/wants and then led us through the process of picking materials, designs, colors step by step. Shout out to Anne (from AO Positive Solutions) who is a design genius and showed us 3D renderings of the final product months before construction even started that turned out to reflect the final product almost exactly! Emely guided us through the custom cabinet process with some great ideas, a good eye and attention to detail. Mustafa is a co-owner and was very easy to work with - reasonable and no pressure to upsell us. Our hero is Jawid – our incredible project manager!! Our project was on time and on budget – need I say more?!? His work ethic, customer service, attention to detail and logistics planning skills are unparalled. He put all of himself into our project as if it were his own home. In fact, we moved out of state for 4 months and had regular Zoom or FT meetings and never once felt uneasy about not being there – we knew we were in good hands with Jawid and his team. The entire team holds themselves to high standards and will not compromise on quality which we really appreciated. I have done two projects with Meyer over the years. One was whole house remodeling and the most recent project was bathroom remodeling. I really enjoyed working with them. My designer was Ivy and my project manager was Rod (one of the owners). Both of them were very responsive and professional. Ivy was very detailed oriented. She helped me to select all the materials I needed for my bathroom project. Rod was very knowledgeable and hands-on. The crew cleaned up the site everyday after the work was done. I have recommedned them to my friends and some of them also chose them to do their projects.

This team is exceptional! My husband and I interviewed 4 Design & Build firms and 2 General Contractors before choosing to hire Construction by Meyer. I'm a realtor with high standards and resources galore but Mustafa and Ivy presented us with a plan for our home remodel that made so much more sense than other companies and professionals. Our job didn't impact square footage but we moved and enlarged the kitchen, moved the laundry and pantry, and moved a half bathroom to make it a full bathroom. The entire team was communicative via WhatsApp and calls/emails so we always were in the loop and questions/answers were confirmed before proceeding. The promised timeline was met, and the team made it clear that would only happen if WE were also diligent with what we were responsible for in our purchasing of materials/appliances/etc. We are thrilled with our outcome!

We were having a ADU in my house at Livermore and reached out for several estimates for the job. One of the reasons for choosing Construction by Meyer was Mustafa, who didn't just sell us on the product and his company but he was a master of customer service and made us feel like family. Working with him as project manager and then the wonderful rest of the team. We were totally pleased with the outcome. There were a couple of items the inspectors wanted us to do which would have cost us a lot more but Mustafa literally went to City Hall and talked with them to receive an okay to move ahead without those extras they had insisted on. We are totally delighted and could not be more pleased than this.

Outstanding! Construction by Meyer came with designs and options to open up our living space, and fully upgrade our kitchen. We love it, and had a wonderful experience working with the entire Meyers Team. Totally professional; courteous, kept us fully informed throughout the process, and clearly a very talented and fun team. Our project finished on time and kept totally within our budget - no overruns. I know unheard of!! We had a wonderful experience working with Kitchens by Meyer to remodel a bathroom for aging in place as well as beautiful for guests. Everyone on the team was so professional and the craftsmanship was extraordinary. We never worried that the result wouldn't be perfect.
