Very happy clients here! We hired Distinctive Creations to complete a number of projects at our home, including removing and replacing new Hardy Plank siding, finishing our laundry room with built in cabinets and granite counter, creating a new full bath and recreation / craft room in unfinished area over our garage, and some overall “tune-ups” for some painting refresh and lighting in our 6.5 year old home. The projects took from the end of November 2019 through beginning of March 2020 (with some breaks for the holidays requested by us). We couldn’t be happier with the process and the product all around! Charlie and his team were professional, clean, responsive, resourceful, accommodating and overall nice people to work with. All in all, we are really pleased with Distinctive Creations and have already recommended the team to friends. We will be doing our basement in the near future and there is no need to look anywhere else. We will be using Distinctive Creations again when we do.

We hired Distinctive Creations to demolish an existing house and build new. This was a big project and every step of the way Charlie and his crews were extremely professional, delivering high quality work. We hired Distinctive Creations for our home addition project and had a very positive experience. We strongly recommend Charlie Fruci to anyone embarking on a large or daunting construction project. Our project doubled the size of our existing 19th century country Victorian home. It included a new walk out basement, a new living room, a kitchen remodel, a master suite, and a new deck. Nearing the end of it all, we hired Charlie to do a stamped concrete walkway and new driveway too. Which is to say: at the end of the project we had such a good experience with Charlie that we hired him again immediately without any competing bids. We presented Charlie with architectural plans in January 2107, signed the contract in February and broke ground on the excavation in April; as soon as the ground was ready. The contract was completed by the end of September, on budget. Once site excavation began in April, it was a non-stop progression of activity. Charlie did a great job of orchestrating all the sub-contractors and inspectors. There were unexpected surprises along the way, but Charlie was able to adapt without missing a beat. Something was always moving forward. Communication and responsiveness is very important to us and this is where Charlie really shines. He was always available to discuss what was going on or any changes or issues that came up. He is gregarious, easy to talk to, and always responded to questions and comments promptly, constructively and with a positive attitude. Over the course of the project we came to trust Charlie and his opinions. He came to understand our preferences and he learned both what we care about and also what we don’t care about. Charlie challenged some unusual choices we had made and offered suggestions that we had not considered. We incorporated many of his recommendations into our home, but when we insisted that we wanted something he figured out a way to make it happen without trying to force his preference. He was present on site during all sensitive or critical activities to ensure that it was done properly and in accordance with the overall plan. Charlie was very responsive and reliable. Most notably, there was a time when the addition was framed but not weather proofed yet and there was a torrential downpour. The rain pooled and started leaking through the kitchen ceiling. We called Charlie, and he was there in literally 5 minutes. Within 8 minutes of our call he was on the addition out in the dark pouring rain himself, fixing the problem himself. He stayed on for 30 minutes after all was well, to ensure the leaking had stopped. It meant a lot to us and is just one example of how over time we came to trust Charlie. In summary, we had a very positive experience with Distinctive Creations and recommend them highly. While Charlie Fruci’s educated opinions were a valuable resource while overcoming idiosyncratic construction surprises, we consider his open, friendly and responsive communication style his greatest attribute. Renovating our home turned out to be a life changing decision and Distinctive Creations got us there every step of the way. Working with Charlie and his team was an incredibly positive experience. We trusted them entirely as we opened up and expanded our 85 year old house. The project was on time and on budget which seems unheard of these days! All of Charlie's sub-contractors respected each other's part of the project and worked seamlessly together. They are all pros at what they do. There was never a day when we didn't know what was going to happen or what the plan was. For reference, our renovation included tons of exterior repair work, expanding the first floor, new kitchen and four season room, gym space in the basement and all new windows. We're thankful to Charlie and his team for making our house amazing!

Distinctive Creations did an amazing job on our family room addition. This was a complicated project which involved building a wall with a 6,500 pound steel beam support structure and taking down multiple load bearing walls. It was completed with no issues/complications. All materials used were of high quality and installed with perfection. We are 100% satisfied with the room that was built and get a kick out of how many people who look at it for the first time for the first time say, "wow, this is amazing".

I first contacted Charlie five years ago when we had engineered plans to add 1,200' of living space to our home. The $200K + quote was competitive and the quality of work and craftsmanship was extraordinary. There is not a single thing we would change

My Wife and I hired Distinctive Creations Inc. to do a remodel of our entire 1st floor, and let me tell you, it was the best decision we ever made. Charlie has the " Right Stuff ". He went out of his way to accommodate our every desire. He worked with the Insurance Company to get that end completed, and then got started with some great ideas for us. Starting with the cabinet design and hardware, followed with the granite counters and tile floors. They look awesome. Then the hardwood flooring throughout, with color coordinated paint choices in the dining room , living room, hallway, kitchen and lets not forget the transfer to white trim. The Dual sliders to the deck opened the whole place up too. He went out of his way to personally introduce us to all of his staff, all of who were professional, polite and knowledgeable. We used Distinctive Creations this year to do a remodel of our master bath. Charlie listened to our ideas and made them become a reality. The work done was terrific and we never felt nervous about having his workmen there while we were away. Everything was done on time and within the allowances. When issues came up (as they do in all renovations) Charlie was responsive and took care to listen to our concerns. We have a lovely, lovely bathroom and it was all done in the time that Charlie said, and within the amount that he had projected.
