Rama did a great job designing our very small backyard w/ lots of native/drought tolerant plants. She suggested an especially cool thing for the otherwise bare outdoor walls which the living room windows face and we get compliments on it all the time!

Rama is a very conscientious and knowledgeable Landscape Designer. She has lots of great ideas and is willing to take the extra steps to achieve the results you want while trying to work within the budget. Rama drew up a clear set of plans and then arranged for an excellent contractor to do all of the work. She also followed through to insure that the contractor's work was completed according to the plans. We are very pleased with the work that Rama completed.

We just completed a California native plant installation for a large area of our almost 3/4 acre residential property and are very pleased with the design and installation by Creations Landscape and the installer Steve Lytle.

Rama Nayeri provided the design for our front yard and coordinated the demolition and re-landscaping by a professional landscaping contractor. It was reassuring to have her involved in all phases of the project, She provided a number of creative design blueprints from which we chose a drought-tolerant California native motif. Our yard has an attractive variety of California native plants, some of which are flowering. The plant beds are surrounded by flagstone pathways and are divided by a dry creek bed. We love the look and the fact that we are saving water. Rama does great work. Just be patient with her as she can get very busy.

Rama is a fantastic designer! We had a limited budget and she was able to bring to life my initial ideas of a simple but vibrant looking drought tolerant front yard. She is patient and thoughtful. She accompanied us to the nursery where she took input from everyone inc my preschooler ( mint smelling plants and white flowering plants- check). She had great suggestions on professional companies to use to bring the design to fruition.

I have been in the horticulture industry for over 35 years as a retail nursery manager, wholesale sales rep. and a landscape contractor. I'm an extremely busy person with way too much on my plate. So when I decided to take on a landscape remodel of my front yard, some of my friends thought I was crazy. There's no way that I could get that done. Well, that's when Rama stepped in. I told her what I wanted and she coordinated enough that it made it super easy (even helping me with design drawings that helped me get HOA approval). The end result was a nice eco-friendly design that requires little maintenance on my part, all at a reasonable price.

Rama helped me redo my front and back yard with native plants, pathways, and other elements such as a large sand box. Rama took me to Tree of Life Nursery to look at plants and had lots of patience with me and revised the design many times to meet my changing needs. She was very reasonably priced and always available. She is easy to work with and has great contacts and referrals in the landscaping business.

We retained Rama to create a design plan for our front yard after removing all of the turf lawn. We were looking to replace it with California native plants. Rama gave us a superb plan with several options. She helped us select the plants at the nursery and followed through with the landscape contractor who did the installation and supervised the planting. We love the garden and it is the buzz of the neighborhood. Her design work is of high quality and the entire project was completed in a very reasonable time frame. We hired Rami for our lawn replacement program. She was very knowledgeable with regards to selecting California native plants. She was involved throughout the project and was easy to work with. Our front and backyards are colorful and full of butterflies and hummingbirds, and our water bill has been cut in half.

After we decided to remove our grass (front, side and back yards), we decided to visit the Santa Margarita Water District web site to see if it had suggestions on how to convert a yard to a more sustainable landscape. After we discussed a few things about some of the web site suggestions, we decided to attend a Designer in Residence program at the Tree of Life Nursery. After the 30 minute session was over, we took some of the business cards on display at the Nursery and began calling three of the landscape designers, one of them being Rama Nayeri, owner of Creations Landscape Designs. After seeing what design approach each of the three designers offered, we felt Rama had the best design approach, cost and planned personal involvement in the project. This is how we hired Rama for the landscape design work. For the next three months, Rama was outstanding with respect to all phases of design and landscaping of the yards. Every appointment Rama made with us she kept and she showed up on time. If she was going to be a little late to a meeting, she called or texted to let us know. She quickly proved to be very reliable. On top of this, Rama was personable and took a liking to our family pets. In our initial meeting, Rama asked us what we were looking for in plant types and our own landscaping ideas. She took us to Tree of Life Nursery a few times to make suggestions and showed us what some of the plants looked like that she thought we would like. This proved to be very helpful in our plant selection. Her preliminary design was nearly perfect as-is. The final design was slightly different, but was also improved over the preliminary design. She laid out the final design so that a professional landscaper could easily read and translate it. Rama also brought us hardscape samples she purchased from building supply stores to be used for walkways we wanted. She also made suggestions about each of the samples. Throughout the actual landscaping, Rama worked well with the landscaper and purchased the plants from Tree of Life Nursery, as well as personally delivered them to our residence. She placed each plant in their precise location to match the design layout she created, and oversaw the planting by the landscaper. Our positive experience with our new landscape could only have happened because of Rama's professionalism, creativity and personable nature. When someone asks who designed our yard we say, without hesitation that it was done by Rama Nayeri of Creations Landscape Designs.
