I just had valences installed in our family room and they are absolutely beautiful! The workmanship is perfect. Working with Nina was so much fun ~ she picked up on my style immediately and was able to create these beautiful cornices. The installation by Alex and Alex was also great - they are an amazing team and very professional.

I did an online search for custom draperies. I was so impressed with the quick response from Nina. She came out to our home the following week. I showed her around my home and she zeroed in on my taste and style. Nina quickly pulled fabrics and then sketched her ideas for a large window and 2 small windows. When I asked questions about certain aspects of the design such as to the floor or mid length for curtains she was able to explain why she felt this was the way to go. It was the easiest choice to make. Today was my installation day. Wow - I am even more impressed. I feel my room looks totally pulled together with pillow shams and chair cushion; and compliments the look in my master bathroom. The color is perfect and they definitely have the wow factor. I also chose motorized blinds and they programmed them for me. I highly recommend Nina, Alex and Dennis. They are very professional and produce a quality product. We are already working on another window and other ideas.

My experience with Nina was wonderful. She’s extremely talented and very personable; a joy to work with. Our bedroom turned out beautifully! The one disappointment I had was with the bedspread that Drapery Avenue made was that it did not fit my bed. The seamstresses are very talented though. I would recommend them to and them to anyone.

I love these curtains & so reasonably priced! The fabric was a bit pricey, although there were less expensive alternatives! I love these!!! Finally privacy!!!!

I started my project in April 2022, and it was all done and installed in 8 weeks. I started by setting appointments with a big on-line drapery design house and two local luxury custom drapery designers. To my surprise and at no charge, Emily, the President/Designer at Custom Drapery Workshop worked with us to formally kicked-off our project within the week, including an in-house consultation and a meeting at her workshop to review fabrics. I found that I needed more on-sight assistance than the on-line consultant could provide. The other local design house had a one month wait for in-house consultation and a per hour design fee. Because Emily was able to help so quickly, I cancelled with the other local designer. Emily was able to help us visualize each of our options and guide us in our final selections. I wanted the drapes to be functional, bring warmth and class to our room and still be functional for privacy, lighting and insulation. I originally wanted automation, but Emily helped me save money and design drapes and a cornice that I feel is a luxurious and timeless work of art. I could not be happier with the fabrics, fringe, custom seamstress work and installation. And I love my matching custom table cloth and runner.

I spent 3+ hours with Nina in August looking at hand drawn designs. Nina walked around my home and listened to what I wanted. Today Nina and Alex came to install cornices, draw drapes and blinds in every room of my home. The results are stunning! I could not be happier. Cornices, fabric and trim are beautiful. Nina didn’t stop there but brought matching accent pillows and updated my lamp shades with matching trim. Each room is unique but they also tie into the rest. Every directions I look makes me smile. From start to finish this was one of the best companies I have ever hired. The sales rep, Nina came to our home with the utmost professionalism and knowledge of curtains, from fabrics to hardware. When the installer came, he was extremely kind and quickly installed all the hardware and curtains. I was surprised by how perfectly everything was measured and cut to fit our windows. (As our house is 100 years old and not perfect by any means as far as the different wall heights and window sizes.) They really know how to measure twice and cut once. The drapery was absolutely majestic and of highest quality. They really put the final touch on our living room.

Our designer, Nina, helped us select the right fabric to creat a distinctive and cohesive look in our new home. She provided confident guidance but was not pushy. She was lovely to work with. And, most importantly, we are thrilled with the final outcome.

From the first call to the end of transaction, Dennis was quick to communicate and eager to help. I needed custom grommet sizes that I could not find anywhere else in Naperville or surrounding areas, but Custom Drapery Workroom was able to accommodate. When you visit this location, it looks like Santa’s workroom with so many beautiful patterns and things to see and many seamstresses at every table working hard and happily.
