I had a great experience working with Cynthia Kriz Design. Cynthia was able to conceptualize and implement design ideas which encompassed elements of functional minimalism, sleek modernism, and a truly sexy Miami Beach aesthetic. She listened and incorporated a few existing pieces of furniture and artwork which came from a Mid-Century Modern Hollywood Hills home. We collaborated and went for a layered monochromatic look. The artwork provided pops of color. Cynthia's team was detail oriented, punctual, and delivered hi quality finishes and craftsmanship. Cynthia Kriz Design managed the renovation of my Surfside apartment from the electrical system, through flooring, closets and interior design. Cynthia is a pleasure to work with and is highly capable, with the eye of a perfectionist. There were many slow-downs due to the COVID and she always maintained her cool, found work-arounds when necessary, and managed any construction issues that popped up. She is a responsive, patient and talented designer. I recommend Cynthia highly for anyone in needed of an insightful renovation or interior design professional.

I have worked with Cynthia Kriz on three projects in Surfside, FL over the past several years. Each of these projects required her expertise finding a good contractor, plus personal supervision. Cynthia was amazing to deal with on a professional and personal basis. She listened to our needs and took the time to find the product I wanted, which I know can be frustrating sometimes. The first project was a 2 bedroom apartment we renovated for my sister, which began in September, 2020. This required new appliances, renovating the 2 bathrooms, new flooring, new closet, laundry room build out, walls and wall coverings, shades, furniture and rugs and lots of hand holding for my sister. My sister, who was moving to FL from northern NY is thrilled with her new apartment. We own a 3 bedroom apartment at Solimar which was flooded from a leak several floors above us. Mold developed and we had to pull out the kitchen and master bathroom. We called on Cynthia again in February of 2021. Cynthia drew up plans for the new kitchen and bathroom, submitted the plans for permits quickly and ordered cabinets and counter tops made. We decided to replace the toilets in all 3 bath rooms and update light fixtures, replace the laundry room doors and the other bathroom closet doors while the contractor was on site. The master bedroom closet was also updated. When the new kitchen was finished and the master bathroom complete, the entire apartment was painted. What a fantastic, bright apartment for our daughter and her family to come home to when they visit!! In late 2021, I contacted Cynthia to draw up plans to tear out our master bathroom, service area and the kitchen counter tops and repaint our apartment at Fendi Chateau, plus new furniture. We were very specific about the marble design and lighting for the master bathroom, removing the bath tub and adding cabinetry for more storage. The service area was a challenge to remove a bathroom, temporarily move our wifi/tv connection equipment, replace our service sink and plan racks for hanging our bikes on the wall. Cynthia took me to choose the marble for our bathroom at the same time I chose the stone for the service area walls and floor. They are all gorgeous materials! She has fabulous connections. My husband and I feel the apartment is now a home and we are so very happy with the outcome!! New kitchen counter tops, metal shelves and lighting; a large service area with storage for our bikes, office equipment, service sink and wifi/TV equipment cabinet; gorgeous living room furniture and rug; guest room furniture and rug; and the most luxurious master bathroom ... butterfly marble walls, custom cabinetry, storage cabinet, fabulous lighting. Thank you, Cynthia Kriz! Cynthia was trained as more than a designer. She can look at plans and do calculations because of the education she received in her home country. She is very patient, but persistent. No stone left unturned.
