I am incredibly impressed with the work done by Dan Misek Carpentry on my 1845 limestone farm house with barnboard summer kitchen. He handled an extensive list of tasks independently with exceptional attention to detail. The renovation started with Dan handling the controlled demolation of a water damaged peak roof and rebuilding it as a slanted roof. Dan also took care of the demolition of lathe and plaster walls, tongue and groove ceiling, and damaged sections of flooring. He completed all the interior framing, insulation, drywall, flooring, kitchen cabinets, countertops, and major appliance installations. He installed all new plumbing, including the toilet, tub with shower surround, and sinks. In addition to the structural work, he meticulously restored and installed the original trim, and arched ceiling preserving the historic charm of the home. He also completed the exterior work, including new siding, foundation repairs, landscaping, and replacing the main roof with steel. Dan handled the coordinated of the necessary subcontractors, including electrical and HVAC, ensuring everything was completed as requested and came together smoothly. To meet an expedited deadline, Dan worked evenings and weekends, always maintaining high-quality work. I am beyond pleased with the results and highly recommend Dan Misek Carpentry for any project.

Dan Misek did a great job with a relatives property a few years ago so when we decided to renovate our cottage, he was the first carpenter I contacted. He quickly provided several quotes and several options and budgets and spent a lot of time explaining the details of what he's going to be doing. The work itself was done quickly and efficiently. We were happy with the level of detail and with the quality of both interior and exterior work. To name a few Dan rebuilt our old deck using new materials and reinforced the decks' structure. He did some repair work on the floors and on the crawl space walls, installed new sliding doors and windows as well as other smaller projects inside and outside. Dan also had left the space very clean and tidy and removed all the garbage from the property. Dan made suggestions to some of our requests and thanks to his knowledge he also saved us from making a few bad design decisions. The end result is clean and professional. We are looking forward to working with Dan again in the future.

Dan was hired to fix a leaky shower and install a new vanity. He assessed the project and gave us accurate quotes and timelines. Throughout the project he gave us daily updates on his progress. He also documented all issues as proof for insurance claims for a later day. We were very impressed with his professionalism and craftsmanship. Dan did our walk in shower. He had to use some closet space to enlarge the area for the shower. We asked for specific work to be done including a strong bench. Dan is approachable, dependable and takes great care with each detail, even those you can't see with the finished product. His finishes look amazing. In addition to the challenges of working on an island, Dan was able to provide all of the services needed from start to finish. Dan really knows his stuff!!! He provided all of the following services; demolition, cabinet removal and installation, flooring, delivery, carpentry, plumbing, tile, electric, drywall repair, window repair and painting. HIs work is impeccable! He is efficient and reliable and left the site looking immaculate. He is a perfectionist and it shows in the finished product. Dan Misek was hired by Eurtton Distributions to install a kitchen in this over 100 year old cottage on Wallace Island. I was the Design Consultant, hired to design and oversee the project. It was a challenging task to install cabinets on uneven floors, walls that weren't square and a ceiling that was only 84 inches. Dan overcame many obstacles such as briddle subfloors, that had to be rebuild, existing build-ins that were so out of square that the new cabinets would not lign up to it. Dan's exceptional Carpentry skills paired with a lot of patience for detail turned this project into something amazing to look at, prestine workmanship at its finest!
