We were so pleased with the work Debra Zinn did on our kitchen renovation. She helped guide us every step of the way, from discussing cabinet layout options to choosing an overall color palette that flows beautifully into the adjoining rooms. Her selections for backsplash tile, countertops, and new lighting fixtures really updated the space and perfectly matched the modern, yet organic and natural feel throughout our house. Throughout the whole process, Debra was extremely patient and responsive. She listened closely to what we were envisioning and offered honest feedback and recommendations that led to a kitchen design we absolutely love. Her expertise was evident in the way she considered not just the kitchen itself, but how it connects with surrounding rooms through sightlines and flow. Debra is professional and has exquisite taste! She is also the most delightful person to collaborate with! She was patient with us as we belabored our decisions and made wonderful recommendations. When we started on this redecorating project, we weren't sure how it would go...and I will tell you that it was the best experience! We absolutely love the new guest suite! Our guests may have to fight us for time in our newly decorated space...it is that beautiful.

Debra was amazing to work with! We started out needing help with flooring and paint for our basement but it turned into redoing our living and dining rooms too. Debra was so easy to work with...she took us to furniture and carpet showrooms, brought us lots of fabric and wallpaper samples, and provided us with our dream rooms! Debra has worked with us to completely reimagine our first floor and master bedroom. Her unique ability to envision a room from a few swatches of fabric allows her to create stunning, yet, charming rooms. My husband and I began working with Debra in the late winter of 2019 on the redecoration of our living and dining rooms. Debra is very easy to work with, has a great sense of style, gave us multiple design options and worked within our budget while helping us find beautiful pieces. Because of COVID, our furniture production and shipping was delayed quite a bit which slowed down our completion until now (fall 2020) but I think this allowed the rooms to develop in a more organic and eclectic way...they turned out even better than we expected! Debra also went above and beyond to help us locate some harder to find pieces. Debra works with fabulous subs who helped bring some family heirlooms back to life, custom made beautiful curtains and pillows, and added built-ins and wainscoting that totally transformed our rooms. We HIGHLY recommend working with her, you will not be disappointed!

We partnered with Debra Zinn Interiors in the summer of 2019 to do a complete renovation of our kitchen and eat-in space. My husband and I had never done a major home renovation project before and, thankfully, Debra expertly led us through the process. She connected us with our eventual contractor, cabinet supplier and various suppliers, and acted as our project coordinator. The number of choices that needed to be made for a project like ours would have been overwhelming if we hadn’t been able to leverage her professional experience and design expertise. Debra helped us both prioritize and sequence the decisions, always with a focus on keeping our project moving. We have two jobs, two boys, two dogs and very busy lives. Debra was so accommodating throughout the time that we worked together, meeting us at our home or at local store fronts on days and times that worked for us (often outside of standard business hours). We had a very clear vision of what we wanted and she helped us refine that vision by lending her timeless design style to our project, sharing the do’s and don’ts and giving us creative freedom when we needed it. The result is a beautiful and functional kitchen that is representative of true collaboration and the creative process. We could not be happier with our kitchen and a year later, I still wouldn’t change a thing. Working with Debra was an absolute pleasure. We had many laughs and an overall great time. I’m so glad to call her a partner and friend.

Debra was amazing! She helped me navigate a major kitchen and bathroom renovation on our first floor. We had never done a renovation of this size and when it came time to start making decisions, we didn't know where to begin. I called Debra and despite her already full schedule, she was able to fit us in quickly. She came with me to Raleigh several times to choose counter tops, tile, hardware, light fixtures and wallpaper. Each time she was patient and thoughtful with her advice. If I started to go down a rabbit hole with something different from what I thought I wanted, Debra would kindly guide me back so we stayed on course. There were so many design decisions to make and Debra helped us narrow down our choices to 2-4 options so that we weren't so overwhelmed. Debra was also down to earth and thoughtful about each aspect of the process. I have three young children and she was realistic in helping me choose furniture that would hold up and extremely accommodating in meeting around my schedule. She was also great at coordinating with our contractor to make sure the project was running on time. We had an issue with the wallpaper I chose for our powder room not arriving in time for when the contractor needed it. Debra spent hours one night and the next day helping me find something different that we could order and would arrive in time - including yet another trip to Raleigh! I can't imagine going through this process without her help. I look around at our gorgeous kitchen now and there are so many elements of it that I absolutely love but would never have found without her help. We plan to renovate our master bathroom in a few years and I will absolutely be hiring Debra again! Thank you Debra!

Debra helped transform our 25 year old kitchen, sunroom and powder room into a bright, open and welcoming space where family and friends like to gather. After listening to our ideas, Debra provided direction and knowledge, choices of materials and names of trusted contractors during each stage of the renovation. Our project was complex, including the removal of a wall. There were many times when Debra provided creative solutions to what otherwise would have been a design problem. Debra is amazing!! She helped me with our kitchen renovation and I couldn't be happier! It is my dream kitchen and there is nothing that I would change! At our first meeting, I fell in love with a tile backsplash that she showed me and then everything else was based around that. Debra was so easy to work with and she has a beautiful style that is simple, elegant and timeless!! She knows what looks good and she will also work to find you the best deal. We are now starting to work on the family room! My schedule is crazy but she has always been so accommodating. I am so glad that I found Debra and can't imagine working with anyone else!!!
