I am an interior design consultant with 45 years experience in the design field. My experience includes full knowledge of the home furnishings industry and I have worked on over 180 homes from the beginning of construction to completion as well as hundreds of remodeling projects . No project is too big or too small in any residential or commercial space. I have been blessed to receive awards for my work and have my work published in several design magazines.

Debbie has a perfect eye for what would best suit an existing home’s style and furnishings and the client’s wishes , working closely with her client, ensures that the design choices all work well together and give a nod to upcoming trends (yes, she seems to be just ahead of them), making the result as timeless as anyone could achieve in the age of media saturation. Debbie’s recommendations are miraculously spot on. She pulled together the finishes, the rugs, the floor plan modifications, details related to tile patterns, and also came up with the idea for the custom cabinet over the tub which is both a lovely focal point and contributes much needed storage. Debbie also is well organized, and immediately responsive to questions and concerns.

What more can I say about Debbie Sykes? Her credentials, the reviews from her clients, and the photos of her elegant projects say it all! I needed help with colors but the thought of inviting a high-end designer to enter and critique my home was very intimidating to me. If 10 stars were an option, that is what I would give her. Debbie was the first interior decorator I ever hired, and to date, she she helped me with my kitchen, as well as my family room. If you are like me, I have zero vision. I know I want something better, something that feels like me, and a space I want to be in-I just have no idea how to make that happen. Debbie somehow knows exactly, and does it so efficiently. She is genuine, straight to the point, but not pushy whatsoever, and give you lots of options. I am planning on moving in the next 2 years, and will absolutely plan on using Deb right from the beginning. If you are on the fence about hiring her, don't be. You absolutely will be thrilled with your decision.
