Genesis Kitchens & Design

We met with several companies to discuss our kitchen and laundry project. Jessica at Genesis came up with brilliant ideas for both that were cost competitive and creative. She provided drawings and 3D renderings that brought the vision to life. She also went over and above to help us find products that met our needs. She spent hours helping us look for the right floor tile as well as helping us find a fantastic store that had just the right unique tiles for our backsplash. Now we are over a year later and our entire family comments on how we love our kitchen. It has gone from a place we avoided to one we seek out to spend time in. Our laundry room has gone from frustrating to extremely functional. Working with Genesis gave us amazing spaces and was without a doubt worth the investment.

We were so please with the outcome of our kitchen renovation with Jessica of Genesis Kitchen and Design, that we decided to renovate our master bathroom and closet. It was the obvious choice to go back to Jessica for help. We found it difficult to envision how to optimize this unusual space and Jessica patiently helped us to solidify our vision. She actively listened and came up with many creative renditions for us to choose from. Being able to see multiple products and samples at the studio with Jessica’s design eye greatly reduced the overwhelming feeling of making design choices on our own. She was there for us when the unexpected came about and calmly helped with us find alternate solutions. Jessica expertly guided us through the process and voila – a beautiful functional bathroom we enjoy using every day.

Sarka was great to work with and made sure the product and installation was to our expectation. Design meetings were efficient with great advice. She worked hard to push toward the earliest installation date in a time where everything seems to be delayed. The installation date was met, with a great installer (who worked with me on all my required specialty electrical cut-outs). Genesis/Sarka, with a quality product form Columbia Cabinets and great installation from Kevin totally totally came through us - 5 star!

Sarka at Genesis Kitchens did the renovation of our kitchen. We couldn't be happier. Sarka was professional, very knowledgeable, gave excellent advice and was easy to work with. She provided a detailed timeline of the process and when I could expect the project to complete. She was very prompt at responding to emails. I was happy with Jessica, the Designer in the beginning of the project. Then I and my husband were very upset with her and the installer due to their very unprofessional service and lack of respect to our side of schedule. But when the supervisor knew what happened during the installation by listening from both sides of the story, he handled things very professionally which was what we expected from Genesis kitchen after reading all the great reviews. He checked with me until the end of the full kitchen renovation to make sure things are in control. I would give 5 starts to Ben who is in charge of Genesis and made things right at the end. Also, many thanks to Mike, Designer who helped us a lot to make it right. (If anyone wants the toe kick drawer, make sure what size it is because one of mine is only 4.5-inch under the 14inch drawer because it is installed between the legs of the cabinet)

Sarka was wonderful. This was my first renovation and I was going in blind; not knowing what to do, what to expect and what to choose as far as colors, quality, etc. Sarka was a life saver. She presented me with samples that worked well together and took my tastes in consideration. She was very detailed, professional and very personable. I would highly recommend Sarka!!!!

Genesis Kitchens were recommended to us by a friend. Nikki worked with us to develop our vision and to choose colours and finishings, from tiling to countertops and appliances. She also provided 3-D renderings of the kitchen, giving us good visual impressions of what the end result might look like. Although installation took a little longer to complete than expected (mostly due to supply chain issues), everything was completed to our satisfaction. The final price was as quoted - no hidden extras. If we were to do it all again, we'd definitely go back to Genesis and would ask Nikki to help us. She gave us what we were hoping for - guidance and solid professional help.
