We had a great experience working with Jamie on a complete gut renovation of two and a half bathrooms in our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From the beginning, Jamie really listened to our needs, frustrations, and what wasn’t working in the existing spaces. She came up with a thoughtful layout and a clear path forward that completely transformed the bathrooms. One of her greatest strengths is her creativity and ability to see possibilities we hadn’t considered. For example, I never would have thought to go from two sinks to one, but Jamie saw an opportunity to use that space for much-needed storage, including a beautiful linen tower with a pullout laundry hamper. It was such a smart solution and made the bathroom both more functional and beautiful. Construction took a little over three months, and Jamie stayed connected throughout the project. She recommended an excellent contractor, helped us navigate decisions along the way, and remained engaged throughout construction. Jamie is also genuinely caring and invested in her clients. When we ran into obstacles or questioned a decision, she was just as invested as we were in finding the right solution. She truly wanted us to feel good about every decision and be happy with the finished result. That level of care is rare. Our experience with Jamie even extended beyond our home. She recommended a fantastic painter for the exterior of our entire HOA community and consulted on the colors. Her eye for color and design made a real difference there, too. We have no idea how we would have completed our remodeling without Jamie's help. As soon as we hired her, she jumped in with precise expertise, dedication, and kindness, helping us with every aspect of the project: tiles and countertops, plumbing fixtures, cabinets, color combinations, electrical plans, appliances, communication with contractors, and much more. She helped us get through unexpected last-minute changes by quickly pivoting and picking up new items for us. Jamie became a member of our family because she spent so much time helping us improve our home. Working with Jamie sold me on not just the luxury, but the need of having a designer work on any and all remodel projects I take on in the future! At first I thought, "I'm not doing anything special, I'm not creating a showroom", but I decided to reach out and speak to her anyway to find out more about what she does. If you are making the investment to remodel (or build newly), talk to a professional who can take the ideal vision in your head and make it a reality! I had a lot of "wouldn't it be nice if..." ideas about the remodel, but figured they wouldn't all be possible, and would probably make it too expensive. Not at all! She got the picture of what we were looking for, gave us ideas to meet those needs, and then recommended dozens of other things we would never have thought of that really elevated the usefulness of the space, all while having it look clean and uncluttered. Also, my ideas were received from a total place of nonjudgment - simply looking at how we make them work, and if she had experiences that told her a possible idea could be an issue, she shared those completely from a space of workability. She worked amazingly well with my contractor and was able to take our ideas and "translate" them to make them a reality. Most of all, I was doing this remodel with my wife and let's say that we don't always have the same tastes and ideas. Jamie's magic gift was the ability to hear and speak to BOTH of our needs, making our decision making all the easier and finding ways for both of us to feel like we were heard and got what we wanted. I have had the pleasure of knowing Jamie Price for several years. When changes to our home and furnishings arose as a goal, I was happy to reach out to her and even happier with her help and guidance. Jamie saved the day!! I was refurbishing our outdated dental office and did a great job getting 80% there but then I hit a brick wall. The paint colors were NOT coming together. Something was wrong and I didn’t know what! The white wasn’t the right white. The blue wasn’t the right tone. The floor we had in another part of the office that we wanted to use throughout was discontinued. Decisions needed to be made yesterday! Jamie was quick to respond to my frantic calls. I started working with Jamie in the summer of 2021 so with COVID still looming and distance between us, Jamie and I connected via phone calls as well as zoom calls. We made final decisions together. She listened to what I wanted and with a tweak here and change there, she helped me divert a design disaster. I HIGHLY recommend Jamie for your design needs. I will be using her in the near future to help me decide on the perfect colors for the exterior of our home and our interior cabinets.

Jamie's virtual design consulting service was a fabulous help to me in getting renovations done to our home. I have a hard time making decisions and Jamie was able to guide me through the process, make suggestions that fit my design goals, and help me keep on track to accomplishing my vision. Working with Jamie was an absolute pleasure. She helped with an office suite remodel and though it took many months (because of the business operating during all this), Jamie was there every step of the way and made herself readily available throughout the process. She listened to our needs as well as inserting what her professional thoughts were as many decisions needed to be made. What a fabulous experience! Jamie helped me update my living room and kitchen by looking at what I had and then offering suggestions on how to rearrange items to make better use of my space. We moved a few wall hangings (and when I say "we" I really mean "she") and it gave my rooms a totally new look. She then gave me a few suggestions on little touches to add that were all very affordable (I am working with a very tight budget). I made a few purchases and with what she did paired with what I bought, I really felt like I got a brand new space. It was so easy and Jamie has a great eye. She even sent me a variety of suggestions after she left and had more time to think about my rooms. I had an excellent experience and I highly recommend you work with Design Compass!

I have always done my own decorating because I don't like being told what to do. Besides my style is a little on the maximalism side so I wasn't sure what to expect when working with a professional. What got me into asking for help was the fact that 1.- When it comes to my backyard, I'd been stuck for years, and two, that she lets the client choose and decide. I knew what I didn't want (classy, elegant, or minimalist) But I didn't know what I wanted. Jamie gave me wonderful ideas honoring my gypsy, boho, full of color, full of lights, full of plants style. My backyard is in the process of being remodeled right now and she helped me do a great job while allowing me to display my personality on my project. She's also so nice and pleasant that you feel you are working with a good friend that doesn't judge you. All the opposite, my ideas were welcomed with kindness and a sincere willingness to help.

I love working with Jamie! I had been wanting to refresh my home for a long time but being a single mom with 2 teenagers in the house, it was an overwhelming project to start. Jamie was the perfect partner to help me figure out all the who, what, when and how's. She introduced me to great organizers and contractors to get things going.
