Dezaar Interiors

Decorating nurseries for Nicole’s three children led to decorating nurseries and children's rooms for friends, then to their parents bedrooms and living spaces. Recognizing an opportunity to help clients create beautiful, serene, inspirational and well-planned spaces that were also affordable, the idea for Dezaar Interiors was born.

Nicole Botsman is the founder, lead designer and creative force for Dezaar Interiors. An ex-attorney with an MBA and a Masters of Finance, Nicole's first career was in business. Working with some of the world's largest companies in wine, electronics and retail, Nicole soon recognized that while she was developing great business smarts, her corporate career didn't make her happy or fire her passion for more creative pursuits. After leaving a buyer role at Target in Minneapolis to have her second child, Nicole found her true passion in interior decorating.

Before launching the business, Nicole gained experience on both the show room side and also the design side with Mary Hickey Interiors and Scherping Westphal to learn more about the business and the day to day skills needed to run a design firm. This second career has tapped Nicole's business background while unleashing her passion and talent for interior decorating. When she is not dreaming about the perfect wallpaper and fabric combinations, Nicole can be found spending time with her husband and 3 adorable children, drinking strong double shot lattes and on a good day finding time to squeeze in some exercise.
