Sandy was wonderful to work with on the interior design of our dining room, family room, and kitchen. She listened to our needs, and helped us better define the style we were trying to achieve while ensuring that all the pieces flowed together from one room to the next. Her expertise, creativity and incredible organization made the entire process painless. She sourced items that we would not have been able to find on our own, and refined the design boards for each room giving us plenty of options, but not too many as to overwhelm. She kept us updated on the status of all the pieces, and diligently worked through any issues or concerns that arose along the way. Because of her services, our living space is now stylish, warm and inviting. We could not have done this without her.

Sandy is outstanding! I engaged with Sandy at Diggs & Dwellings to furnish and decorate my home after a remodel of the entire house. Out with all the old (every room had changed during the remodel) and in with all new and I absolutely love it all! Sandy is extremely friendly and personable, is very quick to understand personal preferences/styles and stays on top of every detail until the client is completely satisfied. You won’t just like it, you’ll love it! My project was extensive (entire house – master, guest, office, living room, media room, dining/kitchen, outdoor, etc.) and Sandy handled everything from furniture and artwork all the way down to eye-catching knick-knacks that really make the rooms pop. She has no bias when it comes to selecting the items and offers a wide range of options (local stores, online, vendors she has direct relationships with, etc.). She maintains regular communication, is always adding new ideas to Pinterest boards and is constantly on the lookout for items that fit the style of my home and my tastes. I’d recommend Sandy as an interior designer without reservation and look forward to working with her again on future projects.

I would highly recommend Sandy Nakatsu as an interior designer. I love the work she did in my home and the way she pulled things together. She listens to what her client tells her and delivers in every way. I told her my budget, that I wanted the furniture to be good quality but also something that my grandchild could jump on and be durable. She transformed our space and was completely reliable. Through out the project she posted ideas on piniinterest and I had a wide array of choices. She knew where to source things from and passed on her discounts she is able to get with some merchants. All in all she was a pleasure to work with.

Sandy has helped me decorate the living room, dining room, kitchen, entryway, and bedroom of our home. She "gets" me and what I like and don't like, and has a wonderful eye for color and design. We love the sofa, chairs, tables, pillows, etc. she helped us choose and purchase. Sandy is an upbeat person and a pleasure to work with. I have enjoyed the process tremendously and would highly recommend working with her on your interior decorating.

I loved working with Sandy! Having her come to the house was a great way to get started -- and she came with examples and ideas (based on our earlier phone call). Not only was she patient (it took me over 2 months before i placed the order) but she had great ideas about how to approach furnishing my media room. Best of all she has wonderful resources that can customize furniture to fit... I didn't even know that was possible! The quality of the furniture is great, and it was more affordable than I thought it could be. Love my new room with 2 customized cabinets flanking the fireplace that were WAY more affordable than the built ins I'd originally thought I needed. And the coffee & end tables really complete the room. Looking forward to tackling the next room with her help.....

I stumbled upon D&D from a friend of mine who had a successful experience working with Sandy. Sandy came to my home while under construction and started providing design help immediately. Working with a blank canvas provides endless possibilities and can be overwhelming; Sandy was great at providing thoughtful guidance. Having someone support your ideas but also tell you candidly when your idea may not work from a design perspective was greatly appreciated. I heighly recommend Sandy for your design needs.

I am a retired single male professional. I needed to have my home interior basically completely redone by professionals, as I seem to have little aptitude for interior designing. I commissioned Kassi Clark (Kasabella) and Sandy Nakatsu (Diggs & Dwellings) to do the work. Both of them were exceptional in completing the home makeover for me. Great room, 2 bedrooms, den, pictures, etc. etc. They took command, asked pointed questions, made wonderful decisions, and made me very happy with the results. If one needs to have the best professional advice and service to make their house a really great home, then these are the professionals to turn to. The very best!!!

I recently had the opportunity to work with Sandy to furnish a vacation rental property. Sandy is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. She quickly got a feel for the style I was going for and was sensitive to showing pieces that were a fit for my budget. I had been checking out many furniture options, including some of the major catalog and online retailers, as well as local and national furniture stores, and feel that the upholstered furniture is of higher quality yet a lower price point. I also found I had more flexibility in customizing pieces to fit my space. Because our property is several hours away I assumed I would just be looking at a few smaller pieces that I could transport myself. As it turns out, there is a great delivery company sharing space with Diggs and they are able to deliver for an extremely reasonable rate. I was able to purchase most of my furniture through Sandy and will definitely go to her first when I have future furniture needs. Definitely worth seeking out the store as it is not in a high traffic retail area.

Diggs & Dwellings is a fantastic jewel of a store. The owner, Sandy, has a great eye for home furnishings and accessories as seen by the terrific sample of pieces she showcases on her sales floor. You'll find an array of styles - literally something for everyone! There is also lots more available to order. I was looking for a kitchen dining table and chairs and Sandy showed me serveral options from the floor as well as from catalogs. Recently I ordered an area rug from her store and absolutely love it! Sandy is very knowledgeable, offers great customer service and really aims to please. The prices are very competive as well. I look forward to working again with Diggs & Dwellings!

I am a recent graduate of Bellevue College just starting my residential interior design business in Washington. While browsing Houzz for inspiration and direction, I came across some fun furniture pieces that popped from Diggs & Dwellings and was thrilled to see this resource was local. I ordered a custom sectional from Sandy and she was extremely helpful. After looking for months at all the big stores and not finding what I needed I was so happy to find Diggs and Dwellings. I was able to find a sectional in her warehouse that was similar to what I wanted and then customize it by picking the fabric, legs and even add height to the back! So glad I found Sandy I have referred many friends. On one of my more recent trips I added some fun new pillows to my sofa from her showroom. She has always has great options in the showroom too!
