She revamped the whole space with my own furnishings. The colors she chose and the meticulous job she did with the paint alone was absolutely spectacular, and I literally squealed with delight when I saw it. One ingenious idea she had was to paint my old sink cabinet doors. This is an old summer bungalow from the ‘60’s – and that cabinet went from demoralizing to the hippest pumpkin colored retro sink frame & cabinets in the Hudson Valley! My house was not super cluttered, but it lacked direction, color and personality, now so much new energy fills each room. She opened my eyes to the potential and possibilities in every room. I knew I wanted a blue bedroom. She made sure the blue we chose had sophisticated grey tones that would pair well with browns, reds, orange—virtually anything. If I had chosen the color, it would have looked like a children’s room. Now there is more space, light, color, more room for candles and flowers, more harmonious color palettes, and a sense of flow. Diva has an incredible eye, and is a genius stager and redesigned. My neighbor used her services and his house got two offers & sold at the asking price within 4 weeks, the house had been previously listed for 6 months! Diva is really a miracle worker when it comes to recreating a space— She came in right on schedule as promised and worked well within my budget. She is adamant about being creative with what you already have if you are on a design budget. She sees potential and possibilities in every I can’t recommend her highly enough! Di came to my Park Slope apartment and turned it on its ear! With a miniscule budget, she was able to revive my living room (kitchen too) and transform the entire place into something you'd find in a magazine. The best part is that the apartment still reflects my own personality and taste. I am a writer and editor, so I spend a lot of time working from home; she found a way to separate my work space from the rest of the living area--something I was never able to do--and entertaining friends is now a joy. I even feel more "inspired" when I write. I can't speak highly enough of her many talents. She is truly gifted.
