Maurisa and Mike were awesome to work with. Maurisa is a talented designer who transformed the ideas that we had in our heads into 2-D and 3-D designs that we could contemplate and refine. Mike transformed Maurisa's designs into beautiful cabinets for our kitchen, two bathrooms and our bedroom. We couldn't be happier with their design and quality. We thouroughly enjoyed their easy going, collaborative approach and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

As an architect and builder good sub contractors are crucial for a job to progress smoothly which is why I like working with Mike and Maurisa. Mike and Maurisa are creative, unassuming, hard-working and easily-approachable. Mike's cabinetry is impeccable and he's great at troubleshooting, which is a huge asset in this industry. Maurisa is always quick in responding to questions which we've found to be essential in easing the potential trauma of remodeling. We receive nothing but compliments on the work that has been done on our house. We've hired them for two major projects and will not hesitate to work with them again in the future.

Dodges Classic Carpentry was hired as a subcontractor to custom design cabinetry for our kitchen remodel. Mike and Maurisa worked closely with us to ensure that they captured all the specifications and design elements requested in our quote, and we understood our specs were somewhat challenging. But they didn't flinch and accommodated our requests beautifully, as well as introducing some of their own very cool and elegant (and practical) features. Specifically the drawers under the sink is a clever and resourceful means for addressing the usually wasted space surrounding the plumbing. Their choice and selection of materials are impeccable (hinge and drawer hardware is top of the line and gives a solid impression of longevity). When a couple of issues came up during installation, Mike handled it without any hassle. Fit and finish is way above par and contributes to an amazing overall aesthetic. Based on our expectations, schedule and budget, we couldn't be happier with the results.

We did a complete wall of cabinets in our living room as well as a new fireplace install. Our room went form French Country/Beach to NW Contemporary floor to ceiling. Mike and Maurisa were just wonderful to work with. Details, details, details and excellent listening skills. They are both just delightful to work with. We will be doing a kitchen gut in the future and look forward to working with them both again.

We are repeat customers of Dodges Classic Carpentry, have use them both for a major remodel of our kitchen and a smaller cabinetry build in our living room. Both times they have been great to work with, listening to our ideas, adding thoughtful design advice to our vision, we have been completely thrilled with the results. We recommend them all the time and I know both our contractor and our kitchen designer have also recommended them, since the three of them collaborated on our project. Couple of things to note, we have three active teenage kids and large dog and lots of activity going on in our kitchen and the quality of the construction and finishes have held up to all that wear and tear beautifully. We really couldn't be happier with how the project turned out. Other nice things about working with Dodge's include their ability to meet schedules, keep appointments, meet project budgets.

We worked with Mike and Maurisa on two jobs: a complete kitchen gut and remodel as well as retrofitting in a window bench seat with glass front cabinets and matching radiator covers. The Descheemaeker's were great to work with. They had wonderful ideas and were committed to providing high quality products and service, both before and after the project. They took the time to understand what we wanted in terms of design, function and materials and worked with us to make sure that we got what we wanted without paying for more than we needed. We stayed within our budget and are delighted with the results. More importantly, they were very responsive throughout the process and even after the completion of the projects. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are professional, knowledgeable and just plain nice folks with good values who are fun to work with.

After a disastrous kitchen flood and much researching about cabinet makers, we chose Mike and Maurisa and Dodge's Classic Carpentry to restore our kitchen in a beautiful and functional fashion. We liked their values and environmental choices. Maurisa was a great design consultant, working with our small space and the limits appliance placement put on the new cabinets. She really helped me maximize the space and allowed me to play with the colors I wanted......working diligently to get the right color of stain to match my color scheme! Mike's attention to detail on the making of the cabinets and the installation was above and beyond. The quality was more than what I had hoped for and thought we could afford when we started the process of comparing cabinets. I love the wood he used (European Beech) and they feel sooooo! good to use! The fact that they did it all, design, making the cabinets, installation and countertops ( oh, did I mention the great Meganite countertops and my sink with no seams?) was a big selling point to me. As a kitchen designer in the remodeling business, I can be very hard to please so when I had the pleasure of working with Dodges Classic Carpentry Co. for a project I designed the bar was set pretty high. Dodges did a wonderful job, exceeding my expectations! They are very detail oriented and professional. The quality of their finish was notable too, overall top notch cabinets and a great value.

We have typical 1979 split level home. We wanted to take down the walls of the kitchen, open in up to the dinning room and family room and add an island at the area where the walls used to be and change the original kitchen design to make it more efficient and cool looking. We met Mike and Maurisa from Dodges Classic Cabinetry at the Everett Home Show in April of 2011. We were planning to have our kitchen completely redone and so we had contacted three companies for estimates (two local ones and and an Italian cabinet manufacturer). After many months of research we contacted Dodges Classic Cabinetry again and told them exactly what we wanted. We decided to hire them because we loved the fact that Maurisa was always available and very quickly send us some designs of what we had in mind for our kitchen remodel. Their prices were not only compatible, but actually very affordable for custom making all our cabinets and adding an island in the kitchen. It was the best remodeling decision we made. During the designing process Maurisa was always available and flexible. She knew all the latest products and was able to integrate everything we wanted in our kitchen design and planning. Mike is the best cabinet maker and able to fix and make everything work right. They are young and energetic, but also experienced, knowledgeable, prompt and responsible. Both are a pleasure to work with, not only because they are the best in their trade, but also because they are the best people one would want to meet. A month before our project was due to start I had a very sad family emergency and had to leave to go overseas for 3 weeks. They were flexible with the schedule change. Maurisa worked tirelessly on our project with very little help from us. She finalized the kitchen design, made sure we had all the correct organizers, arranged for the special order hardware we wanted and stayed in touch via email. She understood what we were looking for in the final product and researched products that would match our taste and the contemporary look of the kitchen. When we were finally ready to start the project they coordinated flawlessly with our contractor to make sure everything was in place for the cabinet installation. They were always on schedule and never missed a bit or skipped even the tiniest detail. Our kitchen was finished on time and it is an absolute masterpiece of craftsmanship and superb design. We take our hats off to them for giving us the perfect kitchen, one we thoroughly enjoy using, not only because of the design, but also because of the perfect functionality and flow. We are planning on having them do a couple more smaller cabinet projects for us and a deck expansion and we would wholeheartedly recommend them.
