Donna is a super talented designer. She is a great communicator by phone, text,, zoom, email and in person. Sometimes design things are hard to describe but not for Donna. I doubt one could find a better designer. She computer created several floor plans that included details up the wall until we found the one we really liked. Her detailed artistic creation for our bathroom, includes cabinets and mirrors that are very nicely shaped. Beautiful vanity and ceiling lights. The bathroom floor tiles and shower wall tiles are accented and she tells the tile setter details on how and where she wants accent and other tiles placed. Our bathroom is a showplace. I love her ceiling mold design in our bedroom. The walls and bed have a nice mix of mold and wallpaper, fabrics, cabinets and colors. It's another kind of showplace. Donna always presented choices including fabrics, carpets and colors we made the decision. In our case we let Donna coordinate the whole project with the contractor. The contactor asked Donna when he knew she had the best answer. Our contractor respected Donna's talent and liked working with her.

Donna is a fabulous designer and person! I engaged Donna halfway through a kitchen, laundry room and 2 bathroom remodel when I was barely one step ahead of the contractor in getting materials selected. Donna was a lifesaver by quickly prioritizing the decisions that needed to be made based on her deep knowledge of the construction process then quickly providing me with options to select. Because we were doing a renovation of a 1960's home, there were lots of "surprises" that required immediate answers for workarounds. Because Donna is not only a designer but has also been a general contractor on projects, she was fabulous on helping propose solutions that were workable from a construction perspective, aesthetically pleasing and didn't break the bank. She has incredible taste and vision. Since the project impacted numerous rooms throughout the house, she was very cognizant of ensuring that each room flowed seamlessly into the next. I have done tons of rehabs and worked with many designers through the years, but Donna was hands down the easiest to work with and I am thrilled with the results. She is fun to work with - each outing to pick out materials was like going out with a friend. She gave her opinion on selections but most importantly explained why she though one choice was better than another. Can't say enough great things about her personally and the beautiful spaces she created for our home!

I am a General Contractor that mainly does large renovation projects. Donna was great to work with and had a strong knowledge and awareness of construction. She replaced the original designer on the project and jumped in quickly to provide guidance and finishes without any delays. In 2015, my husband and I decided to embark upon a much needed renovation to our 30+ year-old home. We consider it a HUGE blessing that our paths crossed with Donna Gilliam during our remodel process. From our first meeting with Donna, it was obvious she had an excellent eye and exquisite taste. She would go out of her way to find the perfect paint color, furnishing, textile or accessory that would personalize the space, making it look and feel extra-special. She included us in each decision, providing us with design boards and options. She was upfront about the time it would take for our projects, and she always met the deadlines! Donna also kept us abreast of all our expenses. She sent us a detailed quote on any and every expense, so that we could review before committing to a project or purchase. She was also very efficient with the time she allocated to our project. This definitely helped us in staying within our budget and prioritizing our decisions. On a personal note, Donna Gilliam is honest and trustworthy. She has a very warm and positive personality, and she is a wonderful communicator. Donna is a classy and knowledgable lady with a tremendous gift in design. I've worked with Donna for more than 15 years, and can't recommend her highly enough! Recently, Donna designed a kitchen cabinet layout, sourced cabinet options, and ordered the cabinetry for a project I was managing. Her expertise, wonderful eye, and professionalism make her a joy to work with. She's a creative problem solver, and has seen it all. The more complicated the job, the more valuable her input. Donna is the person we trusted to help design our kitchen. From the time we met, we knew we had the right designer. She was constantly on-site, checking in - meeting when it was convenient for us (even on her weekends).
