Doug brings a wealth of local knowledge and the experiences of a successful business career to serving real estate clients on the Monterey Peninsula. His focus on professional client service has lead to many awards and recognition as a top agent. Doug began his business career at PriceWaterhouse-Coopers, where as a CPA, he learned the financial and tax skills so important to the real estate business. He sharpened his negotiating, financing and transaction skills at The Yucaipa Companies, a national supermarket business he co-founded. He also owned and managed two successful bottled water businesses. A Monterey Peninsula resident since 1989, Doug has a deep knowledge of and commitment to the community. His service includes board and leadership responsibilities for The Monterey Peninsula Museum of Art, Leon Panetta’s Fort Ord Economic Re-use Committee, Family Service Agency, Santa Lucia Preserve Community Services District, and Santa Catalina School. A former professional musician, he enjoys playing guitar and bass. Doug is a member of the Old Capital Club, the Beach and Tennis Club and Monterey Peninsula Country Club.
