This is a one-stop shop for design and materials. We liked working with Melinda and Rick on designing the remodel of our master bath. Melinda took care of ordering all the materials that we selected and she was great at helping us with matching the materials for our design. They took care of delivering the materials and ensuring that everything was correct before we had them installed by our contractor who had worked with Dream Kitchens before. Everyone worked well together and our project turned out beautifully. We are now enjoying our new master bath.

Dream Kitchens designed our kitchen in 2006. It is still beautiful and very current. After 17 years we had an issue with the garbage pull out cabinet. I called Dream Kitchens to see if they could help me find replacement parts. Even though they no longer work with the cabinet company that we used they helped me solve the problem. I would definitely use Dream Kitchen in another project as their design services and customer service are awesome.

We are very happy with our amazing kitchen. Rick and his team gave us their undivided attention and responded to all our requests. They had great ideas as I never would have thought to reconfigure our old kitchen to what we have now. They were timely and very respectful of our home especially since we lived in the house during the renovation. Each person who worked on our kitchen delivered! Rick even gave me the name of a fantastic person to work on our foyer and dining room marble terrazzo floors and he was also amazing!

Dream Kitchens remodeled my kitchen and I love it! I had several companies come in to give me estimates but when Rick walked in, his creativity took over. Rick gave me ideas of how to move things around and make my kitchen so much more enjoyable! He and Melinda were a pleasure to work with, making this so much less overwhelming. Excellent user experience! Melinda is a “dream” to work with. Maybe that is why they named it “Dream Kitchens” Always on the ball, she thinks of all the potential issues and resolves them early on. She keeps you informed as to status at each step of the process, so no need to always have to check with her. Her boss/owner was also very accommodating so he gets 5 stars as well. Would definitely go back if I needed any future kitchen work. Highly recommended source of kitchen upgrades.

DREAM KITCHENS Dream Kitchen is a dream to work with. Workmen very considerate and neat. Every night kitchen area left broom clean. They covered our furniture with plastic to eliminate dust from construction. Karen, Melinda and Rick are wonderful and easy to work with. We appreciated their ideas and guidance. Excellent design skills and construction was fast and very efficient. Couldn't ask for more.

Almost 20 years ago, Dream Kitchens installed my kitchen cabinets and made large structural revisions in my condo apartment. Until now, the work has lasted and Has stood well during the passage of all this time. Recently, I had a plumbing emergency that required immediate removal of cabinets to access the pipes needing removal. When the contractor suddenly declined to take the job at the last minute, i reached out to Dream Kitchens. They responded immediately and performed exceptionally well with timely, appropriate, efficient, considerate, expert workmen. Thank you Dream Kitchens. I only wanted to re-do my bathroom with a walk-in shower. My husband and I saw Dream Kitchens and thought they might do bathrooms also. Rick and Karen listened to our ideas and added many of their own. It ended up being a complete re-make, down to the studs and sub-floor. We were sold on Rick and Karen’s friendliness and professionalism, and their contractor’s and sub-contractors’ superb workmanship. They worked with us to finalize our “dream” bathroom. Their contractor and sub-contractors took care to try not to be too disruptive during the long process. We highly recommend them and their team.

The Dream Kitchens team was top notch from start to finish. Their design was just the look I was going for. They considered my budget all the time. It took several months for me to make decisions but they waited patiently and without pressure. Once I was ready, they moved on it all full speed. Helping and giving suggestions along the way. They stood behind their products and worked with my contractor when there were questions. Visited my home several times during ordering and installation.

I bought a butcher block island top from them with a short deadline. Everybody I interacted with at Dream Kitchens was extremely friendly and helpful even staying after hours to accommodate my work schedule. They were communicative through the whole process and got everything done on time.

Dream Kitchens is a dream to work with. I am amazed at the creative ideas Karen and Rick added to make my somewhat sketchy vision into a fabulous condo. I gutted the kitchen and two bathrooms, moved and removed walls, and added closets. I knew things I wanted, but not how to get there. Karen also added drawers and specialized cabinets that I did not even know I wanted. When a problem arises, they have creative problem-solving skills. A plus is that everyone in the place is just super nice.

did a cosmetic overhaul by painting the cabinets, changing the counters and back splash, updating the hardware etc. completely transformed the look of the kitchen and came out beautiful! Rick and Karen were very easy to work with, kept a close eye on the work, and made sure every detail came out perfect.

After listening to the new ad on the radio my wife and I felt we needed to review Rick and Dream Kitchens. Rick did our kitchen about 25 years ago while in Skokie. It has not only held up excellent but looks as good as it did originally. we have done several updates such as counter tops and fixtures but the original design has withstood the test of time. Thank you many years later for your fine work.

We hired Rick + Dream Kitchens team in August 2017 to remodel our kitchen from the ground up, and are very pleased with the results. Having an old house and not wanting to tear down/move walls around, the team worked within that constraint but nevertheless came up with a design that substantially increased the living + cabinet space available to us. The items that we purchased from them -- cabinetry (Elmwood), countertops (Silestone), Galley Sink, Glazio tiles and Hood -- are all beautiful to look at and came according to contract specs (we selected appliances ourselves from Abt). All the colors/materials/design choices have come together beautifully and we love cooking in, and living in, our new kitchen. The contractors DK hired to do the work (GS Construction) are the best/most professional we've ever worked with, and went out of their way to accommodate all issues and requests that arose during the project. Finally, we signed the contract in August on the condition that the work be completed by Thanksgiving -- we were hosting and needed the kitchen completed by then -- and it was absolutely done on time with a few days to spare. The pricing of the materials/labor wasn't fully transparent and seemed to us to be on the high side, but the work and attention to detail overall was excellent and for us -- who wouldn't have had the skills to design or manage the project ourselves -- the cost was worth it.

Our experience with Dream Kitchens was wonderful! Owner Rick had a vision in keeping with our mid century modern home and was open to artistic interpretation. As a cook, he personally understands the workings of a small, yet efficient, kitchen. Rick's enthusiasm for our project was contagious! We had the pleasure of working with Karen, an experienced kitchen designer. She is a good communicator and was always on top of our project. Karen's knowledge of materials is amazing, and we never felt any pressure to go beyond our budget. The contractors used by Dream Kitchens are among the best. Everything from fine carpentry skills to professional work ethics was top-notch. Dream Kitchens receives our highest recommendation!

I was very pleased with the design job on my kitchen. I am enjoying the new configuration, the great amount of storage space and the entire look.

Dream Kitchens was very professional. I found the computer generated 3-D mockups very useful to help us visualize our options. The contractors/subcontractors that they hired were also very professional and responded to our needs fairly quickly. We did downgrade some of the suggested appliance choices to help save costs, and it retrospect this was not a wise choice. I would use them in the future, and I would recommend them to others.

The Dream Kitchen staff was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and prompt! I was very impressed with their showroom which had everything and more I needed to help me with my selections. I'd recommend Dream Kitchens to anyone who is looking at a kitchen or bath remodel!

We recently moved and needed a kitchen island in our all white kitchen. Rick and Melinda understood that we wanted a focal point in our kitchen to take away from the all white cabinets. We ended up putting in a totally different look from our cabinets, mocha cabinets with a butcher block counter top. It added a wine rack, extra cabinet drawers and a trash cabinet. We absolutely love it and would recommend Dream Kitchens. The installers were very professional and did an excellent job with our lighting and installation. Awesome work!

We renovated our kitchen last year. Our house is located in Israel but this did not stop Rick of Dream Kitchens from supplying us with some ingenious solutions that local kitchen companies had overlooked. Using cool 3D software, our kitchen was designed in Highland Park some 6000 miles away and then built in Israel. We had a wonderful experience with Dream Kitchens from start to finish. They gave great advise , offered excellent suggestions, and yet paid good attention to our desires. They offer top quality cabinetry and appliances and tiles. We are thoroughly thrilled with ALL the decisions. We love the cabinets, the trim, the backsplash.. ... And we were happy with the workmen who were polite, fun and very capable workers. What a big job , finished in a timely fashion. And Rick, well, he is just FUN to be around. I purchased a home in New York and the kitchen required an immediate remodel. I received a recommendation for Dream Kitchens from my sister, who lives in Chicago. After consulting with three kitchen designers (two in the NY area, in addition to Dream Kitchens), I opted to use Dream Kitchens. Aside from competitive pricing, Dream Kitchens was the only designer who was able to incorporate each of my requirements into the design of my kitchen. I have a kosher home and wanted two sinks, two dishwashers, and two ovens. Additionally, I really wanted extra-large, side-by-side refrigerator and freezer units. Dream Kitchens was able to maximize on the space and provide me with a kitchen design to meet my needs. As I live in NY, all correspondence was done via email and telephone, which was no problem at all. I selected my cabinetry through website pictures and Dream Kitchens shipped me multiple door samples to choose from. I now have the kitchen of my dreams! Thank you Dream Kitchens!

At Dream Kitchens no job is too small. I only needed a couple of cabinets for a built-in desk, but the service was excellent, the designers were very friendly and the price was good too. I highly recommend this company.

Phenomenal Dream Kitchens did a phenomenal job redesigning my kitchen for me. They were very creative and they came up with some really great ways to utilize the space. I've been here for twenty-eight years and I've had some kitchen design done, but their design was very different and it worked out the best. Everything looks wonderful.

I'm a general contractor and have worked with Dream Kitchens for the last four years. They have designed kitchens and bathrooms for my customers and I have also done remodeling work for their customers. Their design work is outstanding and they always do whatever possible to satisfy customers. I rarely work with kitchen cabinet companies as I find they are typically more interested in getting the job ordered and not solving any problems that may arise, so they can move on to the next customer. That is not the case with Rick Glickman, the owner of Dream Kitchens or any of his staff. Dream Kitchens takes great pride in doing quality work and in solving whatever problems that may arise so the customer is beyond satisfied. Working with Dream Kitchens is a pleasure. So much so, I have used them in my own home! I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I would seriously recommend anyone who is considering using this company first read this 100% actual experience that my family lived and is living through in dealing with Dream Kitchens. I feel as though Dream Kitchens was completely unfair to us when our project was initially done. The project took 3 times as long as it should have, these cabinets were a cheap and poor recommendation for a bathroom, the closet system failed within 2 weeks, the bathroom mirrors were totally off and needed to be redone, he recommended Danze plumbing fixtures and priced them 3x as high as my plumber sold me the Rohl fixtures for (and my plumber actually completed substantial amounts of additional plumbing work they had recommended and the cost was still 3 times less). When the closet system collapsed, he accused me of "hanging too many clothes in the closet." This is when we were not even moved back into the home--and had like 10% of our closet put together. The closet collapsed within 2 weeks of install...I can't even imagine that this ever happens to other contractors. We later learned that this was his first go around with this closet system. A couple of months ago we were working on something on our first floor with another contractor and when the ceiling was opened up (below the bathroom and closet that Dream Kitchens completed, the workers found GARBAGE (McDonalds bags, trash, old light switches, electrical components, etc.) that the contractor and his workers had just thrown into our walls before closing things up. How would that make you feel if this happened in your home? In addition, the shower on the second floor was improperly lined, and we had water damage on the first floor costing thousands of dollars to fix. The ceiling literally caved in around a soffit, and both needed to be replaced. The issue that still lingers in my heart (and stomach) is that I paid a VERY hefty fee for what we received. We had poorly done contractor work with lower quality items and a bad experience (see above)....but we paid a PREMIUM for these things. I was naive at the time--it was our first home, we had just moved in, and were going to have our first child and I wanted to get a job done before we had our baby. I didn't shop around, ask for recommendations, or even research what I was going to get (I had never heard of Danze or Rohl at the time....I just got lucky with my plumber). However, since I paid a premium, and this work has failed and was done improperly, I absolutely expected Dream Kitchens to meet me and my wife at the house and discuss these things. He was and still is unwilling to do this. Swapping off door fronts that all peeled off from the fake wood that they recommended we use in our bathroom is what has been done--but they did not pay a dime for them (when all of the cabinets failed, the company who makes them sent new one). The issues that I am telling you about in this review are much more important and complex than a door and drawer swapping for the health of my family and for your conscience. I would NEVER recommend this company, and strongly recommend against Dream Kitchens based on the plethora of disastrous experiences that I have lived through with my wife and children. For all of the mold, shower and cabinet issues, he said that it was due to a "moisture problem" that was our fault. Unless you don't have any water in your bathroom (like a shower or sink), don't use Dream Kitchens. More like Kitchen Nightmares.

We have used Dream Kitchen on two occasions - our kitchen and a bathroom. Their tile work was superb and we would use them again. A problem developed with our kitchen sink 10 years after it was installed, and Dream Kitchens got in touch with the manufacturer and got it fixed. I would surely use them again.

Fabulous workmanship, extremely well done work, and responsive, timely staff. Dream Kitchens did a great job for us. We had several bathrooms and a kitchen renovation, as well as a wine cellar done. The workmanship was fabulous, and everything was really high-end. It was extremely well done, and the staff was very responsive and very on time with everything. We were working with a contractor, and there were a lot of coordination and timing issues as to when the contractor was available and when Dream Kitchens could get the materials in and workers available. Everything was coordinated beautifully. We were very happy with the end result.

They installed our custom shower doors and did an amazing job! The doors look very professionally done. Just very satisfied.

DREAM KITCHENS approx. 5 years ago gutted our kitchen and expanded it made it into a "Kosher Kitchen" we recently hired DREAM KITCHENS again to re-model our bathroom(s) and possibly other things in our home. They hire the contractor plumber, electrician painter etc… He has interior designers on staff whom help you pick out everything and the whole team is with you every step of the way. Rick Glickman, Owner of Dream Kitchens, and his team are very talented and creative working within the space they have. In-fact one example is; they changed the direction our downstairs bathroom door & shower door is going and now the bathroom has physically more space in it. There are many great things he is doing with both bathrooms. Rick understands and has many ideas how to make the most use out of a space. There are always things that can go wrong in a home remodeling project What I love about Rick is that he stands behind his work and corrects the issue right away. Rick and his team are HONEST & EASY TO WORK WITH they do not nickel and dime you and they do everything. He is not the cheapest that is for sure but he is also not the most expensive you will get quotes all over the place, rest assure you will feel comfortable leaving your home while work is being done. His contractor's are excellent and honest. Also regarding price he is very good at staying within your budget and finding ways to help save costs on material that is purchased for project if that is what you want him to do. He does all remodeling projects inside the home Another interesting thing he does is out of town remodeling across the USA I know having chosen Dream Kitchens - Rick Glickman that we are in excellent hands.

Excellent design! Rick and company turned my kitchen from a liability to the best room in my house! Rick and his team optimized my space and I now have a kitchen that gives me pleasure every time I walk in to it.

Dream Kitchens has quality products that will fit anyone's budget. I wanted great quality cabinetry with a lifetime warranty, but not spend a lifetime paying for them. Everyone to this day walks into my kitchen and says "WOW!". No one believes I did it in 2003. The design is timeless, the products are state-of-the-art, and I can officially say I LOVE MY KITCHEN!
