I have worked with Interior Design Concepts for over 15 years on various remodels projects to design build on several homes that I own. This dynamic duo is professional, prompt, resourceful and knowledgeable. I appreciate how they are able to adapt to any project that I bring to them even when it is challenging because the project is in another country. It has been a pleasure working with these masterful ladies over the years and plan to work with them again on my next project in Austin.

Deborah and Lauren have been outstanding in every way in helping us to upgrade and update our home. Lauren and Deborah were wonderful to work with. They were spot on with our style and comfort level. We loved that they gave us several options to choose from in their proposed selections, ie furniture pieces, accent pieces and accessories. This team is the whole package! We purchased an existing home in Montgomery but wanted to update the interior and 'make it our own'. In absolute alignment with our preferences and budget, Deborah and Lauren provided their combined expertise and style to give us beautiful choices for our home. We've achieved results we love (and would not have achieved on our own) for our interior colors, lighting, furniture, lamps, rugs, and bedding. Deborah and Lauren made the design and selection process for our whole home makeover simple, quick and easy. From flooring, tile, wall and ceiling paint as well as new cabinet colors, Taj Mahal tops, faucets, lighting, furniture and hardware, they blended a new look to our old home that make it feel like we have moved into a new home. The mother and daughter team have an amazing vision. They were able to grasp our taste and also our budget. My wife and I are very picky and they were able to satisfy our needs. Lauren and Deborah are just the best! We called them up when we needed a few updates to a couple rooms in our house. I must admit that I was hesitant at first to have an interior designer come into our home and help us pick out things for our new house. That being said, I was extremely surprised by what an amazing job Interior Design Concepts did for us. They were extremely professional and they did a great job of taking measurements to make sure that all of the art and furnishings we received were the perfect size. My wife and I are extremely happy with the work they did for us and our home looks like a model home, which is what my wife wanted! Deborah and Lauren are incredible! They helped us remodel two (2) full bathrooms and a very complex Master bathroom addition/remodel. They listened carefully to what we wanted. Then they pulled all of the elements together - cabinetry, fixtures, tile, hardware, flooring, paint, and furniture. They made a complex, tedious process easy. Watching them work was like watching an artist create a masterpiece. Incredible attention to every detail - 10+. They created detailed drawings that we simply handed to our contractor, eliminating any and all questions about what was to go where and tile was to be installed. This was really a big deal and help to us, as the homeowners. It puts ownership on the contractor to deliver the design, eliminating excuses. They bring years of experience to the process, providing ideas that we had not considered or thought about. We incorporated many of their suggestions into our final design. Working with Deborah and Lauren of Interior Design Concepts has proven to be our best and most trusted resource in designing our new retirement home. This is the second home on which we have worked with them - first in 2006 and now in 2019. We decided to do a remodel by getting professional designers involved from the start of the project. Deborah and Lauren (Interior Design Concepts) did an outstanding job for us. They provided the builder with detailed specs on all phases of the job. They worked with the builder so that there were NO surprises in putting our home back together. They were always on time and fully prepared for all meetings. Our remodel was extensive - 4 months. However, we worked with Deborah and Lauren more than that because we changed out most of our kitchen and bath fixtures - lighting also. All floors in the home were replaced. The second bathroom and powder room were redone completely. All paint, tile, flooring, drapery, bedding, and hardware samples were brought to us for review. This saved us a significant amount of time and enabled a stress free experience. We are extremely happy with their design and project work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I truly can’t say enough about the positive experience we’ve had working with Deborah and Lauren at Interior Design Concepts. I had gotten their names from a dear friend that had used Deborah and Lauren to design and decorate their new home. It was stunning and decorated to perfection! My husband and I were building a new home, actually our retirement home, and I wanted to get it right this time. They were instrumental in all of our selections from paint colors, tile, wood floors, backsplash, granite, hardware, etc. in addition to all of the furniture, rugs, lamps, artwork, chandeliers and blinds. We recently moved into our "forever" house in Austin which made me nervous about selecting paint, flooring, furniture, art, accessories, etc. Deborah and Lauren made the process not only stress free but fun! My husband and I met Deborah and Lauren after purchasing a home through a custom builder. Fortunately for us, the home was about 2/3 completed at the time of sale, and Deborah and Lauren had been involved in our home since it was in the planning stages. Our first encounter with Interior Design Concepts was a meeting where all of the selections were carefully placed on a long boardroom table. Deborah and Lauren went room by room showing us what was chosen. At this point, I had absolutely no training or clue about home design, but I have to say we did not change a single selection. Everything was just breathtaking. As a matter of fact, at that point we contracted them to furnish the home from top to bottom. This included window shades, furniture (every single piece except for 1 sofa we brought from our previous home), artwork, sculptures, window treatments (valances, draperies, etc.), and rugs. Needless to say, we spent the better part of a year working with them, and we still have a few miscellaneous items left to finish our home completely. I can honestly say that both Deborah and Lauren have taken so much time with us that they can make selections and read my mind better than most people who’ve known me for decades. They know what I like and what will work best in our home. When I have been skeptical, I have had total faith in them, and I can truly say that I’ve never once been disappointed in the end result. I appreciate how meticulously they built the PDF file of my home by room and communicated it via email so that I was able to see every finish, fabric, and furniture. As a visual person, I needed to actually see how it was all going to work together, and they provided the best in that thanks to their computer savvy. Working with IDC over the past couple of years has been the best experience I could have asked for. A couple of years may seem like a long time, but that is because they have been with me every step of the way. When my husband and I decided it was time to build our dream house, choosing a designer was a scary thought. However, Deborah and Lauren made the choice so easy. They put me at ease from our very first meeting, and we never looked back. Even while still working with the architect, they were already making design changes that would better suit our family. Once plans were finalized, they held my hand every step of the way. More selections than I could have ever imagined. Floors, cabinetry, counter tops, hardware, light fixtures, all the way down to grout color; every detail was considered. Their organization and pre-determined timeline made everything go smoothly. I couldn't imagine how overwhelmed I would have been making these selections without their guidance. By the time building selections were made, we had been together long enough that we could practically read each others' minds. That made furniture selections so much fun. We highly recommend Interior Design Concept for all interior needs (exterior and interior). We hired IDC during the construction of our primary home (2012-2014) and they did an amazing job. We purchased an Austin lake house in 2/2016 and hired IDC again for the interior design. We both work and rarely have time to shop so we hired IDC for their creativity, professionalism and to keep us in budget. They nailed every aspect and we love both houses they've designed. Now they are working on our commercial office space and I have no doubt it will be amazing.

I am not even sure where to start when describing how wonderful Interior Design Concepts was in process of building our design center. Lauren's ability to design a floor plan that worked with our space and vision immediately put our minds at ease as to how the rest of the project would turn out. Deborah continuously gave us new and creative ideas that were exactly what we didn't even knew we wanted! This duo respected our budget, our our building limitations and all without sacrificing great results. These ladies continuously checked in on our contractors and vendors to ensure that they too were being held to their high standards for us. The space Deborah and Lauren created for us was a residential modern home, inside of our commercial building. This needed to feel like a actual home in order to show the real life application of our media, technology and home automation products. Our team couldn't be happier with the results. We actually have more customers who comment on how beautiful the showroom is before they comment on anything else. We have had individual homeowners, custom builders and volume builders alike ask us who we hired to do our showroom. This beautiful space they have given to us truly is our pride and joy. I can't say enough about how wonderful Interior Design Concepts is to work with! They picked up on my style instantly, and made choosing selections for our new house so easy, such as coordinating colors for whole house, tile designs, and designs for cabinet trim work. Our house wouldn't have come together so well and be so beautiful without them. Now that house is built, am continuing to work with Deborah and Lauren on the furniture, accent pieces and art work. They are fantastic, and can't stress enough how great their selections are, and they narrow it down to make everything seem so easy for me to decide on. We have a truly unique custom home thanks to them!

Working with Deborah and Lauren was an awesome experience. I would highly recommend them. Here are some of the things that I especially appreciated. *They met with me and all the suppliers and had answers to questions I had not even thought of - i.e.how long should the rod be on the ceiling fans; how many drawer pulls were needed in each area (kitchen, laundry, bath). *They recommended high quality workers for flooring (tile and wood), electrical and painting. In addition, they watched the budget and spotted savings in bids these contractors provided. *They recommended quality products and gave me a choice on price ranges. They were very knowledgeable about the pros and cons of these products; travertine or ceramic? granite or man made? *They also helped control costs by providing options on how much involvement I wanted from them versus handling it myself. * Finally, they were awesome in the area of time management. They worked with the contractors to coordinate the work and to complete my remodel in 3 weeks. All floors were replaced; kitchen counters, sinks, back splash torn out and replaced; 2 bathroom counters and sinks replaced; a new tiled shower and all fixtures were replaced; the ceiling fans were replaced and canned lighting was added in the hall and family room. Cabinets were added in the family room and laundry. A window seat, with eight storage doors, was built and installed in the master bedroom. Walls were painted throughout. Yes, in 3 weeks. * I continuously found them to be on top of the project and extremely detail oriented. Can you picture any other designer on sight, on Saturday night, checking the quality of the work and sweeping up construction dust??? My designer was!! * Finally, Deborah and Lauren have a great eye for color and design. I love my remodel and I loved working with them!!!

Interior Design Concepts has helped me on several remodel projects in my present home. I gave them 5 stars for the following reasons: 1) down to earth advice that translated into beautifully finished surroundings that my husband and I love and enjoy every day. They helped us design a plan that was executed over time to unify and update the house. Their experience and knowledge of construction and products was invaluable and helped us from making expensive errors. 2) qualified and excellent people who do immaculate work. You hear horror stories about projects being held up for weeks because someone didn't show up on time. That never happened. Workers showed up on time and did the work they were contracted to do. 3) project management--Deborah and Lauren are hands-on. One of them came by my house to check the work every day. Their collective attention to detail is quite remmarkable. 4) cost savings on products that I had chosen. They have been in business a long time and have relationships with a variety of vendors. They pass their discounts on to their clients. 5) communication. Although I didn't list this first, it is such an important aspect in working with an interior designer. The fee structure was clear; I never had any hidden costs that suddently appeared. By the time the project started, the materials had been chosen and had arrived. What would happen next was clearly explained; I knew who was coming to do the work and how long it would take. They want their clients to be happy. 6) flexibility. They were willing to work under some constraints that I had during one project. They are above all professional and enjoy their work. It continues to be a pleasure to work with Deborah and Lauren. We are in the process of downsizing and have bought another house. Guess who I'm calling to help me remodel the house before we move in?

I recently worked with Lauren Haire and Deborah Conner of Interior Design Concepts in Spring TX to provide furniture for a large home they were doing for one of their clients, and found the experience totally wonderful! Even though shopping our Furnitureland South campus in Jamestown NC can be an experience for first time visitors (we have over 1.3 million square feet of showroom space), they were totally prepared and utilized our APP for iPads and iPhones to navigate everything. We had a high pressure 3 day shopping frenzy to furnish this large home, and both Lauren and Deborah were fun, professional, and helpful to their clients as well as to me.
