Eric is a serious professional. He loves what he does and that shows both in the quality of the work as well as the way it feels to work with him. We had a tricky task, turn a jack-n-jill bathroom into two kids bathrooms AND a closet. He tried many different solutions and wouldn't give up until we had it right. His creativity and design sense gave us a beautiful outcome that looks like the rooms were original to the house. He also worked closely with our contractor to make sure no detail was overlooked. He cares about his work and is a delight to work with. I would recommend him to anyone on any project...he's the best!

Earlier this year, i was looking for a interior decorator/designer to help with my home renovation. I found DTLA design on houzz and based on the reviews of past clients, i contacted them and talked to eric about my project. Eric, was very professional and had very valuable input. I tend to be scatterbrained or have grandiose ideas that did not fit my house type or overall design feel. Eric, kept me in the right direction while offering great design choices. My house after many long hours spent choosing fabrics, wall paper, paint color choices, came out magazine worthy. besides the contractor a huge part of the success was Eric's excellent choices and putting up with us during the summer i might add, made it what it is now. I would highly recommend his company, very patient, didnt try to force anything, and he has great knowledge of the shops, tradespeople, manufacturers, that would make any project big or small be excellent. he always tried his best to meet me even with my crazy schedule. His pricing was also very reasonable to the level of work and skill he provided. I would hire him again for my next project. My home is a transitional/modern.

We have now worked with Eric at DTLA Design on numerous projects throughout our house. He has helped us transform our home from a typical, OC tract home into something far more interesting, usable, and personally satisfying. We cherish having people over, and love our environment so much, we tend to stay in for more often. Working with DTLA Design has been a great experience! Eric's design process was very effective and we were amazed at how beautifully everything came together. We love all of the furniture, wallpaper, drapery and flooring he picked out for our new 6,500 square foot home. He has great ideas and in particular came up with a creative tile pattern to seamlessly integrate the existing tile with new tile in an area where the flooring needed repair - saving us thousands. DTLA’s installers and fabricators were also amazing to work with – very professional, personable and detail oriented. We love how our home looks and it was a lot of fun working with DTLA Design. We will be using them again on future projects and highly recommend them.

Working on a project w/ DTLA Design was such a pleasure! We were instantly impressed with the direction Eric was taking a completely gutted remodel when we met on site as he was showing the client his choices of modern, earthy tiles. Watching the weekly updates with all the unique and breathtaking textiles, textures, fixtures and appliances get installed was so exciting.
