Ernie was the architect for a major renovation of my condominium. He did a terrific job not only in drafting the plans, but also in managing the contractors/project and coming up with solutions to problems on the fly. He has excellent attention to detail (my contractor commented on how detailed his plans were) and a wealth of experience which is so critical in a major renovation. It allowed him to anticipate where we might run into problems in our building and be prepared with solutions. He has a calm reassuring manner which is very helpful when you are involved in a very stressful process. He met every deadline and met the budget. I highly recommend Ernie and would certainly use him in the future.

My name is Chad from Under Pressure Construction. I am writing this review for Earnie from Tektonics. I first met Earnie on a project in Malden Ma (Bell Rock Park). I came on board to assist the general contractor at completing project. Earnie showed so much pride in his design that he spent the extra time to bring me up to speed as for exactly what they were looking for. With this I was albe to take the ball and run witih it. Time to time I had questions on the project which were so explicit and detailed that I couldn't miss. Personally Earnie was a pleasure to follow through this project right to the final day of the dedication ceremony where there were about 1500 people admiring our work as a team had completed Earnie is a easy person to get along with as well as the balance of getting the point across not allowing any slip ups. I highly recommend Earnie and team to any design project that may become. He will know exactly what to do or will spend the time to find out. He is also very coachable to recommendations.

Tektoniks provides excellent architectural services for a variety of areas. As one who has worked with Tektoniks, I can say that they are very easy to work with as far as communication and promt responses to concerns. AutoCAD drawings produced by Tektoniks are top notch. The President of the company is very hands on and easy to work with. I would recommend Tektoniks to anyone with a need for architectural services for small to medium sized projects for new and existing buildings.

I worked with Ernie when I was interested in putting an addition onto my home. It was a very unique situation and a very tight lot so it was challenging. Ernie was very responsive and timely; I could not have asked for anyone better. He took the time to meet with me and was extremely thoughtful, understanding and provided feedback on my ideas. Ernie always conducted himself in the utmost professional manner and brought a high level of integrity to my home project. His work is exceptionally thorough. Although my work with him only went through the beginning stages, his interactions with me were always honest, respectful and insightful. I have know Ernie DeMaio for over twenty years and worked with him as a colleague on a half dozen executed projects, ranging from complete renovations of major office buildings to private estate projects. In the last three years I have hired Ernie as a consultant on two constructed projects, one a civic monument and the other a custom post and beam pool house with full kitchen and bath. Each project budget was under $1,000,000. Ernie is a strong designer and he has exceptional in technical skills. He is extremely well organized, well spoken, a very clear thinker and a very good project manager. He is also completely trustworthy and a pleasure to work with. I recomend him very highly.

I hired Tektoniks to design an addition to my house. My main concern was to keep the historical integrity of the house, which is over 100 years old. The look of the finished project fit beautifully with the original house. Tektoniks was very good about working with me in explaining the overall design, the construction process, and was patient with my changing my mind on a few plans here and there as the construction was underway. Also, the research Tektoniks did kept things moving smoothly with the city regarding permits near an historical district. The addition was well designed and not over-done, so the city issued the permit.

Ernie is a a true professional who takes great pride in his work. He excels in working with the general contractor/builder and communicates project details and timelines to the customer very well. With our major home remodeling project, the town required a variance which mandated approval by a Zoning Board of Appeals. Ernie represented us at the ZBA hearing, was well prepared with his presentation materials, and helped the variance to pass. We were very impressed.
