Michael and the Edifice team were exceptional! Highly recommend. He listened to the brief, designed a perfect house and walked with me through the build. He then guided the DA application. What could have been stressful was enjoyable, and the result is a set of site sensitive, approved plans for our Bondi Beach home which we are very happy with. My husband and I engaged Michael in 2021 to redesign our home in Coogee. This was our first big renovation. We had set some objectives about what we wanted to achieve in the renovation - more living space, a study and a master bedroom, and preferably as a complying development. Michael understood our objectives and worked with us to design a home that suited our needs. He provided multiple options for us to review and consider during the various stages, always pushing the envelope to help us achieve the best layout and plan for our home. He was patient, meticulous and very pleasant to work with. Over time he understood our style and made suggestions accordingly. I'd happily engage his services again.

Michael and the team at Edifice helped us through every stage of building a complex 4 bedroom home in the Inner West. When we were first referred we had no idea about how things would work. All we knew was that it was a knock-down rebuild. Michael talked us through the options we had re CDC v DA. Explained things in plain language. Over the months he drafted us our dream home and got it all approved as a CDC. Fair rates for quality work. The house is now almost complete and he has been amazing through the build. His plans have been rock solid for the builder, when needed to be called upon to liaise with engineers, certifiers, builders etc he has been amazing. His team have been great to deal with when needed. Took loads of stress out of what could have been a stressful process. Thoroughly recommend, would use if we ever built again. Thanks so much

Michael and his team are simply amazing. I researched architecture firms long and hard before engaging him, and have found him to be a talented designer with an eye for form and function. He has exceptional attention to detail and provides great value for money. Michael has been my architect on 2 major development projects worth millions of dollars and has performed as well as (if not better than) many of the "name brand" firms you see out there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Michael for any project - large or small - where you value a quality result.

i have used Edifice Design in particular Michael for various projects over the last 20 years or so and have found him always very competent, knowledgeable and his designs are cost effective. Striking the right balance between beautiful designs and making sure however they are within budget is what Edifice excel in.
