In February 2019, we hired Ed Miller, owner of Edwards Construction, for a second level deck extension, new stairs, and matching fascia boards on an existing second level sunroom. After finding multiple issues we contacted Mr. Miller but he brushed us off. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (Sensitive Information Hidden) Long story short: Two forensic engineers (his insurance's and ours) both concluded that the new deck was riddled with code violations and bad craftsmanship. Fortunately we finally got our money back (incl. cost for the needed tear-down). The loss of time and energy has been hugely frustrating though. If you are considering hiring Edwards Construction, please be very careful.

Edwards Construction added a room and deck on the rear of our house. Ed helped us design it to fit our needs. His crew was courteous and efficient. They answered any and all questions during the construction. After completion we had a walk through with Ed and we are very pleased with the room.

I sought multiple estimates when we started our project to replace a 26 year old 28ft x 12ft deck. The proposal from Ed Miller, Edwards Construction Inc, was clearly the most professional. I explained that we wanted an enclosed porch of about 18ft with a connecting 10ft deck to fill the existing 28ft space. Ed immediately grasped what we wanted and made numerous design suggestions that resulted in our “custom built 18ft x 14ft three season room & 10ft x 12ft TimberTech deck”. Within a few days of the first meeting, he provided a proposal that included a detailed architectural blueprint, photos of similar projects his company had done, list of previous clients, description of materials used, project cost, estimated start date and a construction contract. He invited any questions or suggestions for changes. The estimated construction date was about 2½ months out due to projects already scheduled, with caveats of weather permitting. The actual start date was about 2 weeks beyond estimate due to weather and satisfying additional current client requests. Ed and I communicated along the way to plan the start date. Jeff, Chris and Kenny were our project crew. Jeff, as crew leader, is a master craftsman who takes great pride in his work and has completed hundreds of remodeling and construction projects. Chris and Kenny, his able assistants, combined to make the project go smoothly. They freely answered questions and made suggestions. We enjoyed the camaraderie and interaction with the crew. We are delighted with our finished project! The quality is readily apparent. It was completed at expected cost and in a reasonable time.

Ed and his guys exceeded my expectations! Our basement project added beautiful living space, craft & exercise rooms along with a full bath. Ed's experience during the concept phase really put the finishing touches on paper.During the build out Jeff and his crew rocked, attention to detail was top notch. Both Ed and Jeff were great with the follow up, asking questions as the project moved along and not balking with some of my last minute changes. The space turned out fabulous, we couldn't be more pleased.

Thanks to Edwards Construction we have a beautiful screened porch to enjoy. We were extremely pleased with the entire process, workmanship and the employees on the job.

I had a sunroom and deck added to my home by Edwards Construction many years ago. The sunroom is beautiful and the work done efficiently and professionally. The major issue is that the furnace flue was completely covered by the deck creating a major safety issue that did not pass inspection. Rather than doing the job right the first time, Mr. Edwards' remedy was to cut a hole in the deck and stick the pipe out 18" from the deck. Mr. Edwards never met my request to fix this in a more acceptable way. This has been a major and embarrassing eyesore on my deck all these years. I resolved it by blocking the huge flue pipe with a planter, but I would have expected more with such a major investment. As I now am looking to sell my home to downsize, the flue sticking out of the deck is becoming a detractor for potential buyers. I've enjoyed the beautiful sunroom all these years. Wish I could say the same for the deck. I would not recommend.

Ed Miller does great design work for decks and porch enclosures. Excellent carpenter, easy to work with. Work is typically completed on time and on budget.

This company built a new sunroom for us several years ago. They did an excellent job, arrived on time and worked all day until it was done. They helped with the design and the choice of materials, gave us advice on details and executed the plans in a professional and friendly manner. They kept within the budget and finished on time. I would highly recommend them for any job.
