I found EDV Home Design & Reno online and was so impressed with Elaine's work that I reached out to her to see if she could design my new primary bathroom remotely. I live in New Jersey. She agreed immediately and came up with a beautiful plan by just using the measurements and my needs/wants for the space. Her 3D renderings of the room made it easy to see possible end results and were accurate with every detail. Elaine was a huge help with picking out fixtures and finishes, sharing the different price options, and ultimately kept me on budget and created a beautiful oasis of a bathroom for my husband and I. Elaine is both personable and the consummate professional. I will definitely use EDV for my future projects. (the last photo is Elaine's 3D rendering....almost exactly like the end result!)

Elaine met with us at the start of our project which included an addition and renovation to update our main bathroom and to think through the appropriate accommodations to make to help us to "age in place”, and for the room to still look beautiful. And importantly, she was able to help us negotiate any differences we had about the overall plan for the bathroom. Elaine came up with an overall plan and layout and then worked with us every step of the way as our project proceeded. This included helping to select all of the needed plumbing, fixtures, tile and accessories. She also came to the house when needed to help with various placement and decorating issues. She remained professional and yet friendly through the entire process, checking in with us regularly to see if we had any issues. She also served an important role coordinating between our contractor, various vendors and workmen. She has an eye for esthetics, but also the practical. We ended up with an extraordinary product and are very grateful for her input and guidance. We would recommend her without hesitation.

Elaine was so helpful with our bathroom remodel. She helped me envision the space and select tile and fixtures. She provided great recommendations for suppliers. Also helped find reasonably priced items. I would definitely recommend her for all remodeling projects.

We could not have had such a successful experience without Elaine! She is professional and knowledgeable about handicapped accessibility annd able to guide us in the selection of bathroom and bedroom decor that was tasteful and still functional. Elaine was the designer who developed the plan, communicated with the contractor and his crew, and accompanied us to the showrooms for tiles, bathroom fixtures. She stopped in to monitor the progress of the workers, and was always available and responsive to our many questions. Elaine recognized our taste preferences and guided us in the selection of paint colors, artwork, lighting, window treatments, ceiling fans, and more. We plan on continuing to tap into her expertise as we proceed in future renovations.

I can highly recommend EDV Home Design & Renovation. Owner, Elaine, lent her personal touch and attention to the project in a timely and professional manner. My particular project involved installing valences and blinds. Elaine took photos and shopped for just the right fabrics and designs for the valences. I have another project approaching and will most certainly retain EDV Home Design & Renovation to perform the work.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Elaine D'Alleva-Vehse. She redesigned and remodeled my basement, including bathroom and kitchen. She reconfigured the cabinets so I could use them, instead of purchasing new ones. Her design choices for fixtures were impeccable, and she searched to get the best prices. The best designer by far in Western MA. Elaine is talented and has an eye for creativity. She is kind, friendly and is more than willing to go out of her way to help a client. Everyone I have recommended to work with Elaine have all been satisfied.

Our real estate agent (who we loved) recommended Elaine when we mentioned we needed to renovate our existing screened-in porch area. The previous porch was basically a rushed DIY job, so the screens were all torn and falling off while the wooden framework was chipping away. Elaine was able to work within my timeline and budget, creating simple mockups of her proposed design for me to review before moving forward. Attention to detail was strong once the project was underway, with Elaine providing different samples of the vinyl wood flooring so that we could choose our favorite, and then when our preferred ceiling fan wasn't in stock she kindly installed a similar looking option just until the new/our preferred fan was available. She also noticed that the paint job on our ceiling wasn't up to standard, so she and her contractor worked to paint multiple layers until all the paint was finally even. Those are just a few of the many examples of why Elaine was so great to work with, but overall the biggest thing for us was that she kept constant communication on the progress of the renovation and how long each portion would take. So even though the project took a bit longer to complete than expected, we were kept in the loop throughout the way so that fair expectations were set. On that point I'd just say that these designers and contractors are all swamped, so plan to book any renovations as far out as you can so not to rush the process!

Elaine has a great sense of style and is very easy and fun to work with. Responses to my questions were very timely. So easy to communicate with. She had terrific and unique ideas for our entire apartment redo. Will definitely work with her again.
