Working with Elizabeth Hall Designs made our home renovation project a breeze. From another state, Liz was able to tour our home virtually and help us come up with a plan to execute. She took the time to listen to my ideas and came up with a game plan complete with local options and some things we hadn’t thought of. She is always available to offer her expert opinion, help make decisions or changes throughout the process. I love her unique business model in which she offers design and decorating services, for a reasonable price to boot! She prepared a presentation that we could hand to a contractor and say “Here, this is exactly what we need done.” Top notch experience!

It is with such joy and pleasure that I submit this review of Elizabeth's amazing talent, gifts, and work on our Beach House! We have completed all of the interior work and we are thrilled at the beauty that our home creates for ourselves and others to enjoy. Elizabeth led us through the process of design as we strived to marry beauty and functionality in our small but totally adequate 1600 square foot beach house whose focal point/view from every room and angle is the beach with its water, waves, sand, shorebirds, and the delight of endless activity of families, friends, and lone beachgoers. From the architectural structure, to the geometry of barn doors and architectural walls to the cascade of colors in paint, tile, and fabric choices, to the magic of our Sleeping Porch, a bunkbed design to house excited grandchildren as they rest from their day at the beach, play music on the piano, ukulele, tambourines ad maracas, Elizabeth was able to help us create our wonderful space in this this new place and new phase (retirement)of our lives. She was able to contribute at every layer of our project including the outdoor space underneath our house (we are elevated) as she worked with our engineers to design space that met with City coding requirements as well as achieving the aesthetics and entertaining space that we were looking for. Elizabeth is not only extremely talented, but the ultimate professional and she treats her clients with respect at every decision-making corner. And, she is fun and friendly and makes what can be a very stressful time seem doable and even enjoyable. As our work together has come to an end, our friendship and camaraderie will remain for years to come! Thank you, Elizabeth!

Elizabeth (of Elizabeth Hall Designs) combines her talents, expertise, experience, along with her passion for her work and her clients to find places and spaces for beauty, energy, respites, and joy in the projects she leads and guides. When I met her about a year and a half ago in a coffee shop in Long Beach, MS, we didn't talk about the house my husband and I were building on the beach until about an hour into the conversation. She listened to me talk about growing up here on this beautiful beach, about our excitement to host our children, grandchildren and friends in our new home, and yes... she was able to design the perfect "sleeping porch" so that all of our friends and family could enjoy the beauty that we will experience every day. Elizabeth offered suggestions, solutions to challenges, and accepted ours as well. When we move into our "beach house" in February, we will most certainly see our design expert and friend in every corner of our home.

Elizabeth has such style. She took the time to interview me, asking questions about my lifestyle and what end result did I want in my home. I bought a new home with an open concept and literally was at a total loss as to furniture placement in the great room and even what did I want in that area. By asking the right questions, Elizabeth was able to help me narrow down what I really wanted and would work for me. It truly helped me focus on my furniture purchases She even designed a desk that fit into my den and looks as if it was there all along - not added as an afterthought. After helping with the furniture placement Elizabeth design wall arrangements for me and suggestions as to my formal dining room. I so appreciate her kindness and professional help in making my home exactly what I wanted, a comfortable place for my family to gather at "Mama's home." Thank you, Elizabeth.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth Hall to design my living room and dining room. I will admit I was hesitant to hire a professional designer. I had existing pieces I wanted to work in, my budget was limited, and I needed function over beauty. I knew this would be a challenge for any professional. Elizabeth arose to the occasion and exceeded our expectations. From the beginning, she made this large project seem less intimidating. We emailed back and forth and set up a date to have an initial phone call. I told her the scope of the project and how we were in the middle of a massive renovation. Elizabeth asked lots of questions and set up a game plan. She took the time to really understand us and what we wanted. I will admit our budget and style made this a challenging project. On top of that, we had dogs to consider as well as family members with special needs. In the design phase we communicated via emailed, text and had a few phone calls. She was never frustrated with all the emails or messages I sent. Elizabeth took the time to do all the leg room with local furniture companies. We were able to go in, asked for a certain salesperson and test out the sofa/chairs etc. It cut down the shopping process immensely. On our presentation day we did not really have high expectations. Until this point, she had been super helpful and agreeable…almost too agreeable. I can honestly say we were blown away. Elizabeth captured everything we wanted, even the one-off comments I had made that I didn’t remember. The rooms are not only a show piece, but they are also a functional representation of us! She presented a beautifully detailed 3D rendering with a few options. The mood boards really helped as well. Most importantly she provided me with a detailed list of what to buy, from where and stayed within our budget. I cannot wait until the rooms are finished and we can work together again. I plan on using her for 5 more rooms in the future. I have complete confidence the experience will be nothing less than amazing.

Liz has helped me with two projects so far: a living room and a small bathroom. She is in Mississippi; I am in Texas. Liz has worked with my modest budget to make inexpensive changes that have made a big difference. The results had been stunning! I highly recommend her!

Elizabeth was wonderful to work with! We've used her for two design projects. We did a virtual walk-through of our living and dining areas, and she gave us some ideas for how we can take our existing furniture and layout and make improvements. We loved the suggestions she gave, including how big of an area rug to buy and where to place it. We also used her room design package for a full re-design of our master bedroom. She listened to what we each wanted and needed and found great solutions for our room that both my spouse and I loved. Elizabeth came recommended from a colleague, and I would definitely use her again and refer my friends for their interior design projects.

10/10 - Remotely work with a pro and make it super easy to articulate your style I recently purchased a house as my primary residence and wanted to set up my new living room and dining room properly, so I reached out to Elizabeth Hall Designs to help me remotely design and finish the spaces. After a discussion of my goals, Elizabeth jumped into action and emailed me multiple tailored design documents for my feedback, as well as requests for detailed room measurements. Once I provided all the info, there were several more rounds of feedback, including thoughts on local furniture designers that she already reached out to for bids and quotes. When it came time to present her designs, Elizabeth remotely set up a web conference and walked me through all my options, shared full 3D renderings of what my home could look like, and tailored mood boards for each room. After the presentation, I received PDFs of everything that was presented, as well as an itemized spreadsheet that detailed every product that was referenced in the designs, it's dimensions, price, where to buy, and specific SKU for each room/section. It even listed alternates for most of the items. For some of the larger specialty items like couches, she had already done the legwork with the vendors and all I had to do was call and reference an order # she had already established. It really doesn't get any easier than this, especially remotely from across the country. Thank you again!

We built our forever home a year and half ago with the plan to purchase new furniture for our great room once we had been in the home for a while. The time came to choose new furniture and I didn't know how to achieve a warm, inviting space that reflected our casual style, but looked refined and was functional for our family. We wanted to invest in high quality, but affordable pieces that could withstand everyday use by my husband and I and our 3 year old. Liz designed exactly what we were looking for. It's clear that she truly listened to us and thoughtfully worked to seamlessly incorporate existing pieces we wanted to keep with newly selected furniture and decor. It gave us a newfound appreciation for the space and reminded us why we designed that room the way we did to begin with. In fact, I didn't realize how much we were underutilizing the space; since Liz's redesign, it's truly become multifunctional. Although Liz and I live in the same town, we did the entire re-design virtually because of COVID-19. She was fantastic to work with and the end products she provided (a mood board, a room rendering including exact measurements for item placement, product specifications, and a thoughtful description of her design choices) made my ordering quick and easy. Liz also provided alternatives for some of the items in different price points and that had a slightly different style. I thought this was a fantastic addition and not something I was expecting, but very much appreciated. I give Liz my highest recommendation and plan to work with her again when we design other rooms in our home.

My home needed a boost and Liz Hall was the answer! I knew I wanted to update my house but had no idea where to start. Liz could see what I wanted and put the pieces together for me! Liz is very professional, great listener, and an amazing designer! I love the pieces she has chosen and can't wait for them to be delivered! What I'm most excited about is enjoying the new spaces in our home! 100% recommend Liz Hall!!!

I worked with Elizabeth virtually! I am in California and she made the process so fun and easy. I took pics before hand and then with video conferencing she did a walk through of my space. Honestly, can’t believe how good she is with it being virtual. She helped me pick out furniture and lighting making the space cohesive and so inviting. She could look at an area and make recommendations like “move the couch 8 inches in”. All done via online. I’ve already recommended several friends to her and love the ease of virtual consults.

We are building a home and Elizabeth was very helpful in choosing colors inside and out. She is a very professional and knowledgeable young woman. I would use her again in the future.
