Ellen Weiss Design works throughout the Seattle area and in many of the communities comprising Seattle's Eastside such as Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah, Redmond, Clyde Hill, Medina and Mercer Island. EWD provide various levels of interior design services and construction oversight depending on the desired project scope. Our interior design services range from a single room refresh to full kitchen and bath remodels, whole house renovation including additions, finish material/furniture/art selection, and general contractor procurement and construction oversight. We work closely with our clients in order to understand the way in which they want to live in their home, their design style and aesthetic preferences, and their budgetary needs. Our goal is to deliver a beautiful, thoughtful and architecturally appropriate design and finished product that is tailored to our client's lifestyle and which they can enjoy for years to come. Ellen Weiss Design also provides landscape design services. We believe that seamlessly integrating your home's landscape with the built structure is crucial for creating a cohesive design and maximizing your home's livability. As landscape designers we promote a strong connection between the interior and exterior of the home. We also promote sustainable gardening and planting practices that encourage and support local wildlife. We strive to design livable and site appropriate landscapes that allow the beauty of the plantings to highlight the home's outdoor living spaces and the building architecture. Ellen Weiss has an AA degree in Interior Design, a Masters degree in Landscape Architecture, and has studied Construction Management. Ellen has designed and overseen construction on very small to large interior and landscape projects.
