PR Design did a great restoration on our historic cottage in the Ottawa Beach area. From the beginning of the design process to the final punch list, communication was easy and progress steady. Grace Bell was the designer assigned to our project. We loved her designs, color and fixture choices, and we really appreciated her CAD drawings. Grace was very open to our thoughts, made changes quickly, easily and cheerfully, and we are thrilled with the final results. The ground team, especially the carpenters, under project coordinator Benjamin Anderson, were thorough and highly skilled. They found matches for our hundred year old doors, and reproduced horizontal paneling and beaded board, and painstakingly replaced lock sets and knobs so that we could keep the historic feel of our cottage. Eric Payne, the owner, was always reachable to respond to our concerns and had great, creative ideas for problem solving as the project progressed. We really ended up with the best of both worlds: a summer cottage that harks back to it's 1898 roots, yet allows us to live comfortably and conveniently in the 21st century!

We had our basement remodeled into a living room and a half bath by PR Design and the results left us ecstatic! The whole process was a dream come true for having been through other projects with other contractors that left us frustrated. From the minute we engaged with PR it was pure professionalism. Our project manager was in communication with us from beginning to end, overseeing our project and making sure that we knew next steps and what would happen when. Our timeline was adhered to very closely and any time there was any deviation, sooner or later, it was immediately communicated. The work itself is top notch and the resulting product vastly outstripped our expectations. Our project manager, Denver, was an absolute pleasure to work with. This project has guaranteed that any subsequent projects we do in either the house we're in or our forever home will be done by PR Design without question. I have complete confidence in their ability to perform masterful work, at ALL levels, having gone through this experience and would tell anyone looking to upgrade their home to immediately contact PR Design without hesitation.

The team at Payne Restoration did a very nice job for us. The scope of the project was to create a built out structure for a fireplace, custom cabinets, and also tile the front entry and 2 bathrooms. Eric was very easy to work with and responded quickly to phone calls and emails. Eric and his team were all very friendly and did great work. Eric was also very good at problem solving throughout the process and was able to bring some new ideas to help with our design. The Payne team completed the work on time and on the agreed upon budget. Eric and the team were happy to quickly address the minor issues we found to ensure we were satisfied.

Eric gave an itemized quote and answered any questions I had promptly. There was a couple of issues with the dishwasher wiring and heat vent under the sink, but Eric corrected the issues right away. His crew did a good job with demolition and left the house clean. I would call him again for future work

The entire experience... from the first contact to completing the project... was professional and quality. Eric managed everything from plumbing to electrical. I would recommend.

They were wonderful to work with. Eric was a pleasure to work with and his guys were great to have around. He also had very good ideas to give us the most bang for our buck. They did incredible cabinet and tile work and there subs also did fanominal work.
