ETICOM WINDOWS AND DOORS

We wanted to upgrade our windows to make our home more secure. There had been a rash of break-ins in our neighborhood and the police said it was the windows where the thieves gained entry. When we went to Eticom with our problem, they showed us windows that had excellent locking mechanisms that were next to impossible to break into. We have a two-year-old daughter at home, our nanny spends most days with her, and we needed to improve our home security for peace of mind while we were at work. Eticom made that possible for us. We have never felt so safe and secure in our home since we bought our windows.

We retrofitted our entire home with custom windows and doors from Eticom. Our home isn't a standard one and required custom product. The day for the installation came and the installers were great. They walked us through what they were going to do, and how they were going to do it. They told us that it would take some time to install all the windows and doors we had ordered, and they finished ahead of time. The installers were knowledgeable, polite, and professional. We would have them back in our home any time we needed to add new windows or doors. We especially liked the tilt and turn patio door we purchased, we had never seen anything like it and we fell in love with it when we started using it.

We bought windows some years ago and they were starting to show their age. We visited Eticom and saw windows that looked like our old ones, but they were different. When we tested them we felt that the windows were strong and the customer service rep told us they were extremely durable. She went on to cite the materials that made the windows strong and why they compared better than other windows on the market. What it came down to was the hardware and the construction of the windows that gave the strength and durability to withstand Canadian weather.

We ordered custom-made patio door from Eticom and were prepared to wait for a while to get them made and installed. We weren’t out of the showroom more than a couple of days when the call came that our patio door was ready to be scheduled for install. We have never received such prompt service for any home reno project we engaged than this one with Eticom. The patio door is extremely durable – we had a large dog (of our friends, we housed him for two weeks) and the dog constantly run in and out the doors – bumping into them along the way. The doors stand up to the abuse of our friends' dog put on them through and haven’t been damaged.

At first, we a little apprehensive when the customer service clerk showed us tilt and turn patio doors when we visited the Eticom showroom. After a demonstration, we were sold. The tilt-in feature made it breath of fresh air that the doors provided gave the room a light and airy feeling to it. The inviting atmosphere in the dining room is fantastic. We’re glad we waited to buy the patio door from Eticom, and we feel we got our money’s worth and then some
