Evergreen Interior Designs

I hired Tammy Kuhn of Evergreen Interior Designs to help me decorate major rooms in my new Denver home. The new home is more modern and has an open floor concept so I was a bit flummoxed as to how to approach it. Tammy was an expert at getting to understand my tastes, budget, and also at working in some of my current pieces and bringing the rooms together. Tammy is extremely collaborative and a pleasure to work with -- I can't recommend her highly enough!

Tammy helped us with the design of our home. She provided us options and helped us through furniture, paint and layout decisions. She is kind, organized, timely, and did a great job working within our budget.

Tammy of Evergreen designed our new Master Bath and we couldn't be happier! The 3D plans showed us what looked to be photos our future bathroom, so we could discuss changes and see exactly what they would look like before implementing. Her keen eye and talent guided us in the right direction based on what we expressed to her we wanted. And she bent over backwards to meet at various suppliers to pick out tile, granite, plumbing fixtures, etc. We strongly recommend her.

Tammy is wonderful, flexible and creative designer. I purchased my home in Denver in June, however, we weren’t scheduled to move from Virginia until late July. While the house was a beautiful 1920’s bungalow, the interior needed a lot of changes to make it our home. I tasked Tammy with the near impossible, to have the house ready by the time we moved in late July. Not only was timing a challenge, I added the challenge of working virtually with me during this timeframe. Tammy more than exceeded my expectations. She quickly put together incredible design boards for our rooms (living room, dining room, family room, kitchen, guest bathroom and playroom) that were easy to review. She was able to iterate quickly with us for changes and suggestions, responding to our feedback as she got a sense our style and needs. For our family of four (including teenager and pre-teen), I was looking for fun, colorful, comfortable and durable. In designing our rooms (plus paint and light fixtures for entire house), Tammy really listened to what I wanted, but was also comfortable in suggesting alternatives if she thought they would be a better choice. And of course, they always were. She was great at helping me understand and prioritize where to spend our design budget to meet our objectives. She was also really open to combining our existing pieces into the design where it made sense. Since we were out-of-state, Tammy not only sourced services (the painter, tile, electrician), but also oversaw their work providing me with piece of mind. Based on her reputation and relationships she was able to secure high quality tradesman who could also work within our aggressive timeframe. When we moved in we had fresh paint, new bathroom floors, new light fixtures and good portion of the furniture. Once we arrived, I had the opportunity to work with Tammy in person. She was indispensable in helping me place items (old and new) to give the house a warm and lived in feeling right away. She also spent time finding the right accessories to give our house a finished look. She was has an incredible sense of color, integrating multiple colors and styles that seamlessly integrate throughout the house. Overall, it was incredible experience working with Tammy. We have been in our house for less than 2 months and it is everything we wanted – warm, colorful, fun and relaxed. We loved our house in Virginia (that we had recently remodeled), but after Tammy’s work the entire family agreed that this house is even better! She is super talented and a pleasure with which to work. I would highly recommend Tammy. She is the best.

We recently moved to Colorado, and several design companies were recommended to us. After interviewing a few, we chose Tammy Kuhn, from Evergreen Interior Designs. She has been an absolute pleasure to work with! From the very start, she exhibited extraordinary patience and interest in order to fully understand our vision for several rooms in our new home. After taking the time to fully understand our taste, needs, and budget, she presented us with several ideas and alternatives. It was obvious that she considered practicality (we have several 4 legged animals living with us) as well as beauty. In addition, her suggestions for the best use of space were right on target. As the project moved forward, she handled minor glitches with calm and professionalism, which completely removed all stress from us. The finished rooms are absolutely beautiful, while being comfortable and homey. I would highly recommend Tammy Kuhn, and we plan to continue using her services as we tackle other rooms in the near future.
