Excel Builders completed our new home in the Showfield Development in Lewes in May of 2023. We selected them after interviewing several other local builders. From the beginning, Steve Doyle and his team were friendly and easy to work with. The estimate and contract process was quick and comfortable. The construction process was also quick, taking a total of only about ten months from excavation to final completion. We made some changes to the design during construction, and Steve and team were happy to accommodate us. We got to know Vick, the project superintendent, as a friend. He responded to all our requests during construction. Nearing completion, there was only a short punch list, and it was completed rapidly. We are thrilled with the quality of construction, and as a testament to that, we have had zero warranty call-backs from May 2023 to December 2024. We did have one problem, caused by another contractor not under Excel, but Vick even fixed that for us promptly. My wife and I give our highest recommendation for Steve, Vick, and all of Excel. They will be our first call if we ever have another project in the area.

We worked with Steve (Sensitive Information Hidden) and Excel Builders on a large-scale remodel and addition project for our home in Bethany. From design to execution, Excel was excellent to work with - Steve was communicative, available, helpful and realistic. Steve and the Excel team did an AMAZING job designing and building a live-in quarters addition on my mother's home. Steve and Vick were so wonderful and attentive with my mom. Vick was the lead/supervisor for the project and he really went above and beyond to make sure my mom was aware and comfortable with what was happening in her home. The craftsmanship, communication, professionalism and friendliness were beyond what we had hoped for! We would absolutely use Excel again in the future and highly recommend the entire Excel team!

After a major water leak in our kitchen Excel Builders repaired all of the damaged areas to include ceramic floor and wallboard. The employees were very professional and always on time, phone calls were always answered and work was done promptly. Excel Builders could do everything and very easy to work with. I am very satisfied with the personal attention that I got from Excel Builders. They helped us plan our home from the ground up, after we weren’t able to find any designs we liked. They were always available whenever I wanted to reach them, and also pretty flexible when I wanted to make changes to our plans.

They helped us design it after they had seen the lot that we would be using in Dagsboro, and every idea we got from them was good, even the ones we didn’t use in the end. The final design took advantage of the natural shape of the land and the views from the lot. I couldn’t ask for a better home.
