Do not use this guy. We paid him $2,000 in August, 2021 to come out and give us a design. Said would be 2 weeks and would get back to us. Finally, in November, 2021, he gave us a preliminary design. We discussed some changes and never heard a word back. We have called, sent emails, and text messages with no responses. $2,000 down the drain with nothing to show for it. Very poor service. Do not use him!

Mike was great to work with in designing our pool and outdoor living space. We had a vision of what we wanted but Mike was able to really bring it to life. His experience came through in helping us make decisions for a final result that was better than we had imagined.

Mike is a great pool designer! We didn't think we could fit everything we wanted in, but Mike made it work. We only had to request one design change since his original was so good. Mike discussed in-depth the steps that would happen. Our nasty muddy backyard has been transformed into a backyard oasis. We know have a sports pool, hot tub, basketball hoop, and a bbq/Green Egg to cook on. Mike truly understands how to take a space and make it into a functional living space. So glad we hired Mike for the biggest purchase of our lives.

Mike was great from start of design to finish. Our pool is a difficult pool due to the grade on our lot but Mike was able to get what we wanted in there and his design is beautiful. He also stepped in when another pool builder pulled out after 16 months of design and permitting. Our pool needs to go in first due to the shape and size of our lot. Mike saved our project!

Backyard transformation. The most critical phase of any project is choosing the right designer/contractor to do the job right the first time. When I started the process I contacted three contractors and had them send out their designer. It quickly became apparent that the scope and complexity of my project would require a special designer. So I started over and I started researching designers not just the contractors as I had done the first time a round. After several weeks of research I narrowed it down to two designers. Mike Farley was my first call. After speaking with Mike over the phone and answering some of his questions I was confident I had found my designer. I decided I would wait until we met in person to make my final decision. Once I met Mike in person and walked the site of the project, I was 100% confident in his ability and knowledge. This was a totally different experience than I had with the other three designers. I knew I had found my designer and Contractor and we begin the process. The process has been seamless, from the initial design phase through the revisions and the selection process Mike has been there to answer all my questions and also offer his opinion and expertise which has made this a great experience. If you’re looking for a world class designer look no further Mike Farley is your guy.

We hired Mike to do our backyard design and we were not disappointed! We had gone through several designs with different pool companies but were not drawn to any that we saw. When we hired Mike, he had a unique process of meeting with us first and asking a lot of questions to get to know our vision and figure out our budget first. What he came back with blew us away. He is unique in that he listens to what you want and will create just that, but add in elements that you may not have thought of. For us it was the handing day bed! Highly recommend Mike for your pool designs. He is very detail oriented and recommends/designs your outdoor living area to match your needs and intended use: decking, hot tub, pool, pool type and size, equipment. Most importantly, Mike was responsive and worked in a timely manner to for design-completion in order to facilitate timely construction. Very professional on all fronts! Claffey Pools plays at the top of the construction game! Mike F is in his craft is true craftsmen ! I would say this was a big decision but in downtown Grapevine I would not have choose anyone else ! This is my 2nd pool I have built with Claffey and honestly i just would not go anywhere else! Mike did a terrific job throughout the whole process from start of design to completion of construction. His design ideas to complement the house design and property layout were excellent. He answered all of our questions and communicated well with the construction crew. Exceeded our expectations!!
