Karen Davis is a true professional. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her over the last several months. Besides having great taste she worked very hard to ensure that I was happy with the outcome. Being on time doing exactly what you say you’re going to do and following up are very important items to me. Karen gets 100% in all these areas. We recently had the great pleasure of working with Karen Davis of The Finishing Touch. We were doing renovations to a recently purchased home, and our contractor referred us to Karen. We are so happy we chose her to help us with all of our decorating needs. We needed to furnish our entire home, something we had never done before. She listened to what our vision was and included us in the process as much as we wanted to be…and she worked extremely hard to accomplish our vision. Three years ago I worked with Karen Davis to create a professional office space that I adore. This past year, I have been working with Karen on a much bigger set of projects renovating, decorating and furnishing the house I moved into in July. I rely on her confidently knowing she understands what I like. She keeps all the elements of the project in mind and I know even when I can't hold the vision in mind, she is and the outcome will be beautiful. We selected a beautiful color palette, redid a kitchen beautifully, and are working on furnishing. She is professional, reliable, responsive. She has advocated for me with vendors when needed. She generates creative ideas, takes me where I need to go, and narrows choices for me keeping the project moving. She is a delight to work with.

Our initial meeting set expectations on both sides and I can say that she exceeded all of mine. She has an extensive knowledge of styles, colors, and fabrics and her eye for details makes working with her a pleasure. She listened to me about what I envisioned and guided me without pushing. Her recommendations were on point with my vision. She always returned my phone calls which is important to me. She is not afraid to disagree but respectively and always has sound reasons why and suggestions for alternatives. All deadlines were met. Karen is phenomenal! I am very picky and know exactly what I want but simply did not have the time to put my vision together. Our master bathroom was in need of a complete makeover. When I first met Karen Davis, from The FInishing Touch Decorating Inc, I knew we’d work well together. Loved her friendly, upbeat personality and willingness to work with me to achieve the look we wanted. I gave Karen photos from Houzz and magazines that I had been collecting so she'd know the look we wanted. Her ideas and recommendations were what we needed throughout the project. When there were issues, Karen was there immediately to deal with them and keep the everything moving along smoothly. She and the very capable contractor, Alex Viani, whom she recommended, saw that the project was completed within our tight time-frame and on budget. We love out new master bathroom and would definitely use Karen again.

Karen is very easy to work with, follows your budget, and is knowledgable on all areas of design. Her vendors are close by, as well as her ability to order furniture from all over the US and beyond. She is a pleasure to work with!

Karen worked with me to create a sophisticated, yet relaxed and fun home for my family. She is extremely responsive and very quick on her turnaround time. I would tell her what I envisioned and she would come to me with several styles and samples for me to choose from in what seemed like record time. She also steered me away from a few bad ideas in the most gentle of ways. I am certainly thankful for her honesty and good advice as today I realize just how bad some of those bad ideas were. She is creative and devised some workable solutions for some small spaces. Her tradespeople were all talented and professional. When there was a particular issue that presented itself during the job, she confronted the issue and resolved it as expeditiously as possible. I felt comfortable relinquishing control of the project to Karen because I was confident that she would not only get the job done, but get it done well.

Karen is prompt, considerate and good at what she does. She handles all of the little details and is less interested in making money and more interested in making her clients happy. She has helped me decorate my house, change my floors and redecorate when necessary.

Amazing! We loved working with Karen. She was so great: listened to what we wanted, gave us even more ideas that worked for us, totally worked within our budget, and worked fast! The communication was great and we always felt like a top priority. I have another room I want to have decorated in a year or so and will definitely be calling The Finishing Touch Decorating, Inc. to work on that project. We were just so pleased. We still walk around the house just saying, "wow!"
