I recommend you get all quotes for design services in writing at the beginning of your project. While Megan was professional, she charged us 50% more than she mentioned at our consultation even though we severed our relationship halfway through the project. I have owned my own business for over ten years and charge hourly for my services, as well. If I underestimate the time it takes to do a project, I never over-bill my clients. I use it as a learning experience for the next endeavor. I guess this was a teachable moment for me, as well, to get details in writing instead of taking people at their word.
