Our family recently downsized and I contacted Jennifer to help us reimagine a new interior design style for our new home. Jennifer has been such a pleasure to work with. She's helped us coordinate everything from tile and cabinet decisions to furniture selection to blinds and shades, as well as a multitude of space planning designs for the placement of our furniture. Jennifer is always responsive and supportive, discusses our vision for our home, and has assisted in guiding many of our decisions. When we decided it was time to refresh our 25-year-old kitchen, we researched information on local designers and liked what we saw from Fresh Start Interiors. We looked for the address and found it is located in our hometown of Cotuit. When we met with Jen Lozada, we told her we understood designers prefer large projects and would not be offended if she declined our work. Jen assured us she could help us and it would allow her to schedule the work in between her large projects. We never felt like our project didn't garner the same attention to detail and creativity as Jen's large projects. Her response time to inquiries is incredible. Her diplomacy in resolving the unavoidable problems with contractors and slipping timelines mitigated issues and kept the project moving forward. Jennifer Lozada at Fresh Start Interiors is a dream to work with. She asks great questions and listens deeply. There are times when I need her to lead, and there are other times when I want to take the lead on an aspect of the design process, and she transitions seamlessly, a rarity! We were so fortunate to have Jennifer's help in planning and furnishing a major addition/renovation to accommodate year-round living on Cape Cod. We found Jen through Houzz reviews and are so thankful that we did. Our project was a 2+ year in the making (starting in the midst of the COVID Pandemic) of a custom-built home. From design and flow review of the plans through the final details, Jen was there to guide and help us select the right options for our home. This was an all-encompassing bulid from Roof/shingles/decking and patio to wall colors, furniture/rugs, window treatments, etc. You name it we needed help with it. To say she was invaluable is an understatement. Jen took the time to understand what we were looking for, she even visited our former home to discuss our style preferences, and helped us select what to keep. Our new house is exactly OUR taste and style. She is very responsive, thoughtful, and has a great eye and memory for details. We worked together in every type of communication manner – video, in person, text and emails – all fluidly. We have just moved into our home and honestly can say that Jen was instrumental in saving my sanity through our project. We still have décor and details to finish the project, but we look around and say – wow, we LOVE it. So, I 1000% recommend Jen to anyone who wants to consider working with her.
