FRONTIER FLOORING

We had a very difficult and unique project in our home. Our current engineered flooring was of poor quality and was glued and stapled on top of a previous engineered wood floor. This required hiring a team that had the experience and know how to complete the demo without causing issues with adjusting the height of the floor when the new flooring was installed. We had approached several other well known flooring companies in the Fraser Valley (Abbotsford) to look at and bid on the project. None of them gave me the confidence that the job was going to be done right while keeping costs in line. We approached Frontier as I had read good reviews online but thought they wouldn’t take the project on due to the distance from downtown Vancouver. Elmer responded right away and immediately made me feel that we were dealing with the right professionals. He provided an estimate and then he and Paul, their installer, made a trip out to provide a full quote. We had good discussions about the project and we were pleased with their pricing and approach. We decided to go ahead. We had decided to install the Avila Craft Artisan Hickory longboards. Elmer not only priced competitively but also was able to negotiate with Craft Floors to do the majority of the floor in 10 foot lengths at a reduced price. Completely unexpected but definitely appreciated! The demo and install took slightly longer than expected but we were pleased with Paul and his team’s attention to detail and not cutting corners. Everything was done right. Along the way, Paul made some great suggestions which made a big difference. The floors are beautiful, we highly recommend this outstanding team and Frontier Flooring.

The showroom is beautiful, Elmer and Hector are very knowledgeable and helpful. We were able to get the high-end design and look we wanted for our engineered wood flooring at a reasonable price. I have already recommended them to a few friends.

I choose Frontier Flooring for my condo. Hector took the time to walk me through different products (engineered hardwood) that would fit my needs. He was very knowledgable and patient, answering all of my questions. He exceeded my expectations when he researched and provided me with details about the issues important to me, such as VOC compliance and sustainability (something no other flooring store did for me). The delivery went smoothly. Elmer kept me updated on the timeline so that I knew exactly when he would be arriving. He was very friendly and efficient. I used Frontier to redo the floors in my office with a unique woven vinyl product called 2tec2. I'm thrilled with the end result, which was expertly installed. We just had Frontier Luxury flooring replace the flooring in our home in North Vancouver. Their quote was very competitive so we chose Hector as he was very professional and confident. We love our floors- all the work was done to perfection, and on time. Elmer who did the installation was great. We recently decided to get our carpets replaced with flooring and I asked my Facebook friends if they knew any good flooring companies. Several of recommended Hector from Frontier Luxury Flooring. I asked for a quote it was very very competitive but their response and service was better than other companies I contacted. They had a great selection of options and Hector was very helpful in helping me figure out what would work best for my family. All the work was done by Hector’s family members. They were very professional and did a beautiful job. They arrived when they said they would, explained what they were doing and how the job was progressing and left everything very clean and tidy. They seem take pride in their work and the products they sell. I have already recommended Frontier to friends and family. They do great work and they’re just so nice to deal with.

I hired Frontier Luxury Flooring after I had a leak in my Yaletown apartment and my entire living room floor had to be re-done. The owner took the time to go over the variety of different products they had to offer me. He got to know me and my tastes and helped me choose the perfect product to go with the my decor and the paint colours in my apartment. I had a quote and dates for my renovation in less than 2 days! The customer service was impeccable, they worked around my schedule and they were very accommodating. I'm in love with my new floors and would deinfetely recommend them!

I hired Frontier Flooring to do the demolition and installation for my townhouse floors in Yaletown. I had a few quotes done and met with a few companies however Hector at Frontier really knew his stuff and his price was incredibly competitive. I felt like my home (and wallet!) were in great hands as he worked with me to pick the perfect new flooring and went over all the demo and installation details. I ultimately went with a nice lighter engineered hardwood but Frontier carries absolutely AMAZING more special flooring that given the opportunity I would LOVE to have in a home in the future. Truly unique products and Hector is passionate about quality products and unique options (ie patterns etc). When it came time to do the work I was seriously impressed, they took so much care of my home, plastic on the stairs, they wrapped my art on the walls, they covered all exposed surfaces that might potentially be in the way for demolition - it was incredible. They did such a great job that the painting company I hired to come after them asked me who did the work as they had taken such care! Having worked with flooring companies before I know this is NOT industry standard, they went well beyond. The floors are now done and look amazing, the price point was bang on and the guys were easy to have around. They worked very hard and I could tell they wanted the job to look great. I even offered a few times to not do such detailed work around the appliances, as I didn't think it mattered, and they said they would do all the edging so that it looked great no matter what - hard to believe! Thanks again to Hector and Frontier Flooring - incredible job. I would not hesitate to hire them again and would be 100% comfortable referring them to a friend (which says allot). A+ work guys!!

The owner's passion for his product and projects is second to none, and beware ! it is contagious ! No wonder, as all his products are Canadian made, and exceptional for their woods, sizes and finishes. I would certainly continue to refer my clients to Frontier Luxury Flooring.
