We contracted Garden Artisans to replace a deck we had built 38 years ago. We wanted to retain as much of the existing foundation as possible since the wood was still solid in some places. We also had a 10 x 12 foot metal gazebo that needed to be moved off and back on once the work was finished. We weren't in a rush, just wanted it completed before we opened the pool in April. They started late January pouring additional footings. Then the snow storms came and delayed work for about 3 weeks. Once the weather cleared they were able to work again and construction proceeded as expected. Their crew did an amazing job with providing a really solid foundation structure. We chose Timber Tech for the deck floor and railings and it came out absolutely beautiful. Pete and Dan were great to deal with and replied promptly to emails, texts and phone calls. They have really skilled crew members who were also great to deal with.

We had an excellent experience with Garden Artisans and I would highly recommend them. I'm typically a tough reviewer, so five stars means something! Live in Princeton, NJ. We had a yard that had been neglected for a number of years. Lighting was terrible. Fence was broken. Plants were overgrown/dying. I turned Garden Artisans loose and they turned it into a really beautiful space. They did a great job fixing the fence and designed beautiful lighting options in front and back of the house. I've always admired houses with beautiful custom lighting -- and now I have it! The lighting fixtures they recommended (Coastal) were not cheap, and I was initially resistent, but the results speak for themselves. They also did a great job on bringing the whole yard up to spec. And let me add that there was a small problem with the gate latch and a bit of ground that wasn't level. I mentioned it, and they came out and fixed them right away, no questions asked. Communication was great from beginning to end. Enthusiastic 5 stars.

The workers demonstrated true craftsmanship and dedication throughout the project. While we encountered an issue with one of the supplied products (through no fault of the company), their response was exemplary. They stood firmly behind their work, addressing the problem promptly and professionally. The repair work was handled with the same attention to detail as the original installation, resulting in a beautiful resolution. The final result has transformed our property, and their commitment to customer satisfaction was evident from start to finish. Dan, Pete and their entire crew are truly skilled artisans in their creation of outdoor spaces and landscaping. They built our backyard patio complete with an outdoor kitchen and firepit area, as well as relandscaped out entire yard. The stonework was meticulously laid with attention to every detail. The landscape planting selections were extremely well thought out for variation in height, color and season, as well as ease of maintenance. It has been several years since the completion of our project, but Dan and Pete are always available to address and assist us with questions and maintenance issues. More importantly, we still love and enjoy the outdoor spaces they created for us.

Our experience with Garden Artisans was exceptional every step of the project. Pete and Dan are great listeners to understand what we wanted out of our landscaping project. The options they presented were inline with our expectations and also included some additions that were great. Once the project started, the communication was continuous so we knew the timing and the full expense. The final project exceeded our expectations and the quality of the work was excellent. I recommend them without reservations. We have used them for additional projects based upon the success of the first one.

Garden Artisans designed and installed our front walk and plantings and refaced our front porch. I couldn't be happier with the results. Pete was patient and able to find plantings that fit my specific preferences. The installers work was so well done, even our Verizon repairman (who had installed walkways for 20 years) commented on what a perfect job it was!

We hired Garden Artisans LLC in October, 2011 to remove an approximately 800 sq. ft., twenty year old decaying wood deck from the back of our house and install a new Techno Bloc stone patio with a lighting system. Pete Jamet and his team did a great job with the demolition and removal of the deck as well as the design and construction of the patio. Pete spent several hours with us discussing the layout of the patio and the best use of the space that we had. He presented three very creative designs and worked with us to incorporate elements of each into the final installed design. The construction work was professionally done using quality materials and was completed on time. Communication with both Pete and the onsite crew was very clear and timely. Any questions or issues we had were resolved promptly. There were no issues with the onsite crew during the project. We've had the patio for four years now and it is holding up beautifully. We greatly enjoy the new space and would recommend Garden Artisans to others.
