Garth and Michelle Crisman’s collective experience in the industry began in 1990 while working for a company in the Seattle area – in 1996 a mutual love for Whidbey Island prompted them to open Bayview Blinds as a home-based business in the Coupeville area, initially specializing only in cleaning and repair. Eventually, in order to cover the needs of every client, they began offering a full-service solution, which included opening a repair shop in Oak Harbor in 2008. Their mobile unit conveniently brings the showroom directly to the customer – their professional sales staff always carries the latest in a window covering fashions. Bayview Blinds helped us update our 20+ year-old window coverings in our house on South Whidbey. Garth & team were great to work with and the result was perfect. We paid special attention to measurements and all fit just right. Quality and price were right on.

We moved into our new home in 2016 and were referred to Garth, based on his excellent customer service. We were very impressed from the onset. He gave us great direction and we are very happy with the blinds that were installed throughout the house. As someone mentioned, it can sometimes be a challenge to get product and service on the island. Bayview Blinds provided both.

We moved to our new house in 2017. We spoke with Garth about putting shades in the house. We decided on blinds on the sunny side of the house an shaded in the rest of the rooms. Garth was great helping us choose colors and his installer did a great job.

Living on a island can create challenges when dealing with companies. Bay view returned my initial call within 24 hours. We met in my home a week later and two weeks after that my blinds were installed. This company also services and repairs blinds.

Garth came to take measurements at Lous house and Garth ordered Hunter Douglas vertical track and old track have one more blind holder in track and the new installed was less one blind which has 2 inch gap on sides which let's day light through.Not happy with job Garth ordered incorrect track company needs to fix problem with no charge

I’m so sorry your unhappy with the product we installed. The installer verified that the track we ordered was the correct size. However the new replacement has a slightly different design than the broken 30 year old version we replaced. Since you declined the several options that were proposed there is nothing more we can do.

Garth and his staff were wonderful to work with. He was very knowlegable about the different products and pros and cons for our needs. Garth was flexible when we needed to make changes. The installation was fast and everything was sized perfectly. Very responsive and met a tight timeline without any glitches. I originally hired Bayview Blinds to clean previously installed blinds in a beach cabin I own on Whidbey Island, Wa. Mr. Crisman performed the task excellently. I then retained his services to provide new blinds for another cabin I own on the Island. It was a difficult job…the windows were over 75 years old and none were uniformly shaped. Mr. Crisman measured everything meticulously, advised on all the materials involved…cords, valances, and color and provided all services on schedule. He was courteous and extremely professional. I was so impressed with his work ethic that I hired him to make shades for the kitchen of a large historical home I own in San Francisco. There were five windows involved, each a different size with complicated casings and valances over 100 years old. We worked together on this project that involved much back and forth over the phone.Mr. Crisman delivered the shades on time, on budget and they were perfectly made. I could not recommend a better person and company. He gave 100% and was a total gentleman in every respect.
