When my husband and I married 14 years ago we each owned individual homes. After we married we lived in one home and rented the other. Last year we decided to sell the rental and we hired Genesis Home Staging to stage the home to help us get top dollar. Genesis did a great job staging and updating the rental home which helped us get the price we wanted. A few months later we decided we wanted to buy a home that we found together. It would be called our “Dream Together Forever” home. And because neither one of us had any interior design experience, we knew we would benefit from the help of a professional. After interviewing several Interior designers we decided to include Genesis Home Staging since we liked how they staged our rental home. We are happy to say that selecting Genesis Home Staging was one of the best decisions we could have made! Joke and her team took the time to listen and understand what we liked in terms of style and comfort and we left it to the Genesis artisans to update and create our “Dream Together Forever” home. And we could not be more pleased with the results! A major challenge to the team was that the home we purchased was a ferry ride away from their office and center of operations and we would need our home to be ready in 3 months. Genesis Home Staging managed the entire project from paint and flooring, kitchen remodel including new cabinets, updated lighting and fixtures, elegant furniture selection and best of all- the vetting, scheduling and overseeing the work of the various contractors and artisans. Communications were timely and thorough and the work was completed within budget and on time! We are proud to show off our “dream together forever” home and we highly recommend Genesis Home Staging!

We had a wonderful experience working with Joké and Genesis in staging our home at Issaquah Highlands. Joké was friendly, responsive, professional and has an eye for design. The staging was fabulous! She completely transformed the look of our home and the contemporary minimalist look was exactly what we were looking for. We received and accepted an offer in 3 days! We also really appreciated the fact that she was able to accommodate our request to stage our home quickly. It was a pleasure working with Joké and we will definitely recommend her.

Joké does absolutely amazing work! I have an apartment and wasn't sure how to make the layout work for what my needs are. WOW! I highly recommend Joke, a detail-oriented design and staging professional! She staged our condo tastefully and beautifully. She also provided effective recommendations on lighting and easy fixes for a good first impression. The result was unbelievable listing photos, high traffic and multiple offers above asking within 24hrs! Her fees are very reasonable and worth every penny!!!

Joké was amazing to work with. She was very prompt and responsive. The whole process was very professional (clear paperwork, clear communication on what I could expect, what I could do to make the process go smoothly, etc.) and the actual staging was perfect. I thought the house looked amazing and I got compliments from my relatives that had seen the house before/after staging. It looked really good. And Joké was a delight to interact with. We had a great experience working with Joké! It's quite shocking how few stagers got back to us when we made inquiries, whereas Joké responded to my online inquiry with a call within 2-3 hours and we were able to meet with her the very next day. Her quote was quite reasonable (especially compared to one competitor we reached out to) and the quality of work was great! All we had to do was set up the "no parking" signs for staging and de-staging. We had pushed back on only one of her suggestions and she was accommodating of what we wanted. Our home sold within 4 days whereas 2 of our neighbors (we were in a townhouse community) took 2 weeks. Granted, they had different floor plans but I still think the staging making the place look large and open really helped. I would definitely work with her again.

Before I worked with Joke on staging my house, I wasn't sure if staging is really necessary. Now I would recommend staging and Joke to anyone who is selling their houses. A good designer such as Joke will pull a house together and make people fall in love with your house. It will elevate the house to a new level and ultimately sell for more money and sell faster. Joke did a wonderful job for our living/family room and kitchen, but it's her designed bedrooms make me fall in love with her designs. Let her do magics to your house and you won't regret.
