Gabriel Home Builders remodeled an old house and did an addition at the same time. They were efficient and knowledgeable in their work and very professional in their dealings. I felt there was good attention to detail: Jeannine did not let small things slip by - they were redone if necessary, which was not frequent. They were delightful to deal with and made our year's encounter a pleasant experience. I would strongly recommend them for either remodeling of old construction or complete new construction, since we did both.

We hired Gabriel Home Builders (GHB) to build out custom home in the Heights. This is the third house we've built, and I can tell you that, based on our experience, GHB is in a class by itself. Our project was on time, on budget, and exceeded all of our expectations. Jeannine Nuzzi demands quality construction from all of her subs (who are true craftsmen) and has a keen eye for the most minute detail. GHB was incredibly organized and was transparent on all related costs. If we had it to do all over again, we would definitely hire GHB and if we build another house, we wouldn't even interview other builders.

You can imagine the uncertainty when one decides to move out and demolish our existing home to build our dream home (did we mention that my wife was 7months pregnant with our second child?). Having interviewed three other builders, we selected Gabriel Home Builders and were extremely happy with our decision. They were organized (we were the first to test the waters with their on-line worksheet, aka builder trend); they were attentive to our concerns; they focused on quality workmanship and attention to details. Overall, they associated themselves with quality subcontractors, and finished within 2% of our projected overall budget. They were more than willing to work with our architect who was a very dear and close friend of ours. As we heard horror stories about others who had tried to build their home with setback after frustrating setback, Gabriel builders was able to keep this process amusingly entertaining (although the thousands of decisions did get old after a while). We were thrilled with the final product, and were more than happy to oblige their hard work by showcasing it on the 2013 AIA home tour for our city.

Hiring Gabriel. Home Buliders to build my custom home the best decision I ever made! I know it only shows 4 stars but, it was at least 6 in the experience I had working with them! (That roll and click thing needs help). I can't say enough about this company or Jeannine and Brad. Professional, respectful, always available, on top of every aspect, keep you informed and so very easy to work with! I so much enjoyed building this quality home! No corners were ever cut. We built a new custom home with Gabriel Home Builders (GHB) in 2012-2013. The process began far before we broke ground on the new construction. We begin the process by designing a custom home on a lot with our Architects. We worked with Murphy Mears Architects + Wm. T. Cannady. Once the design was nearing completion, we begin interviewing builders and ultimately sent out an RFP. We selected GHB after meeting with Jeannine and Brad and visiting some homes they built. Before I provide my critiques and feedback on GHB, as a reader, you have to understand my personality. I am extremely anal about details, finishes and I have very high expectations. I am also very adventurous when it comes to my selections. These choices provide additional work and headache to builders. Some unique choices I made include the installation of trimless commercial slot diffusors, a laminate wall with concealed pantry featuring a column refrigerator, Lutron home automation and trimless recessed cans. If there were a unique product that may have not been used in residential, I was not afraid to try it. I was very happy with the trades that came to visit, the cleanliness of the property throughout construction (don’t underestimate this), and especially the people I worked with at GHB. A custom home is far more than the execution of the finishes but also the builder’s ability to work with your budget, work with the lenders, work with the city and permits, work with the neighbors and understand your needs. My overall feedback on GHB is they are a fantastic builder to work with and most importantly TRUST with what is most likely the largest investment you will make. I was personally involved in weekly meetings for around 15 months with Jeannine and Brad and continue to keep in touch with them. They held up to my high standards of quality and value and overcame a number of challenges posed by my lenders, the city and the unique products and modern minimalistic style that required so much refinement. I highly recommend GHB and have enjoyed this process. I would work with them again on a new construction home.

We hired Gabriel Home Builders to do an extensive remodel project on our home in Houston. We completely renovated the existing one story home, and we added a second story. Gabriel Home Builders came highly recommended to us by some of our friends who had built a new home with Gabriel a few years ago. I cannot speak highly enough of the impeccable quality of the work, the unrivaled attention to detail and the professionalism exhibited by the principals of Gabriel Home Builders (Jeannine Nuzzi and Brad Setera), and their support staff. Calls were returned promptly, questions were fully and openly answered, and the project stayed on track. We always felt like they were being very truthful with us, and we never felt like we were being taken advantage of. Whenever issues arose (and you will inevitably have issues come up when you are remodeling a house built in 1945!), Jeannine and Brad always had solutions and options ready for us to discuss and consider. Before embarking on this big project, I had always heard how stressful remodelling or building a new house can be. That was certainly not our experience with Gabriel Home Builders. It has been a real pleasure working with Gabriel Home Builders, and we absolutely love our new home. Outstanding all around.
