Gianna of Gia Mar Interiors is professional, reliable and very talented. Our design projects with her have benefited from her ability to translate the disparate tastes of our household. She is able to organize and present options that are in-line with what we like. We trust her judgement, so now when we consider something for our home, we say "Let's ask Gianna".

I worked with Gianna on a full gut renovation of my NYC apartment. I feel so fortunate to have found Gianna and couldn’t have done this huge project without her. She was there for me throughout the entire process and kept me feeling positive and excited. I couldn’t possibly be more happy with the outcome of my job and the entire process of working with Gianna. She was always available for me and always answered my emails and calls right away. She worked within my budget and always wanted me to get the best price on anything I purchased. This was my first time working with an interior designer and I honestly don’t think it would have been possible to have completed the project without her. One of my favorite things about working with Gianna is how she always saw challenges as a way to make a space “really cool”. She assisted me in designing and sourcing custom vanities for my narrow bathrooms, a custom made on-site steel staircase in my apartment, and even a custom headboard that we then had made through someone on Etsy. My apartment is a dream come true to me and every single day my husband and I come home and can’t believe it’s really ours. Gianna doesn’t just have good taste, she is extremely knowledgeable on even the smallest design details that completely changed my space, such as the thickness of my countertops, the exact right “matte black” color for my fixtures, and the perfectly placed Flos chandelier in my living room. As someone who is extremely detailed oriented and needs everything to be absolutely perfect and thought-through, I couldn’t have found a better person to work with.

I was hesitant at first when my wife wanted to hire an interior designer to help us with our new home, but I was so glad that we did and had the opportunity to work with Gianna! I found her to be extremely conscientious, motivated, thoughtful and reliable. She helps streamline the process as the point person and doesn’t rest until you’re happy with the outcome. She was able to capture the feel/look we were going for as well open us up to suggestions that we liked but would not have gone with on our own. I appreciated that she stayed within our budget and was able to complete the project in a very cost effective manner through her industry relationships that we would not have had access to on our own. She is a pleasure to work and would hire her again on future projects

Working with Gianna to design and style our home has been an absolute pleasure. She is easy (and fun!) to work with, organized, responsive, and, most importantly, incredibly talented! From the start, she listened to our ideas, internalized our vision and, using her very high-level of creativity and expertise, designed spaces that are cohesive, beautiful, and just our style… all while remaining budget conscious. Gianna has exceeded our expectations at every turn and we look forward to collaborating with her many more times in the future!

I love working with Gianna! I think I know what I like and then Gianna helps me to think outside the box and pushes me out of my comfort zone which I love, leaving me to love each room that Gianna designed in my house. I can show her 1 or 2 pieces and she will find a way to bring the rest of the room together in a way I would never have come to on my own. She is conscious of my budget, finds pieces to keep within that budget all while leaving my rooms to have a well designed, high quality, artistic look. I wish I could add more rooms to my house just to keep working with Gianna.
