We have been working with GO Designs for 4+ years on a total backyard and pool remodel/repair. The problems were extensive and we were looking for a comprehensive solution. Our major issues were erosion of a steep slope behind our house and a pool that was cracked and leaking. George developed the total plan and we implemented in 3 phases. Pete has been very responsive to any questions or concerns we've had through the whole process, even monitoring our irrigation schedules once the plants were in. We just finished the final touches in May (2025) and the results are spectacular. Some of the things I would have said we really didn't need (like the landscape lighting) have turned out to be my favorite things. We plan on using GO Designs again next year when we tackle the front yard.

If I texted, they wrote back. We were in constant communication. Anything that need changing, they were flexible and positive. They listened and were great partners with us in the design and building. Reviewing some of the other comments about the design fee, that’s what they do, it’s in the name. I’ve worked with builders who said, “tell me what you want, and I’ll build it.” This maybe fine for some, but does this consider the scale of the space? the longevity of materials? the flow from one space to another? the drainage? the viability of the plant life? the safety of the design? code compliance of design? These are not issues to take lightly. If you want someone who does it right and does it best, go with Go Designs.

We hired Go Designs to design and construct the first phase of our dream backyard after an intensive research regarding the best landscaping companies in El Paso, TX. I need to admit that prices are outside the norm for this region but I need to also attest to the high quality of work and customer service that this company provides which in our opinion well justifies the cost. The design provided was an extremely useful and impressive service that I was yet to see from another landscaping company; which allowed us clearly visualize, review, and agree on the work that was to be done to our house. During construction, the crew was very polite and professional while working, which is hard to encounter from other contractors in the region. Overall our experience working with Go Design was amazing and we highly recommend this company. Picking someone to do landscape and design is a daunting task. Especially with so many dishonest companies or people whose quality is not what you expect. But with GoDesigns, you don’t have to worry about any of that. From the design process all the way through the completion of the project, they’re on top of their game. The 3D design is absolutely incredible, gives you an incredible accurate depiction of what the completed project will look like, and you can make any changes necessary during the design process and you don’t have to wait until halfway through the project. GO Designs did an outstanding job of architectural designing and building on our 1 acre lot complete with winding pathways with boulders, grassy areas, various gravel areas, dozens of trees, a huge custom swimming pool and watering for all the trees and grass along with future plants!

George and his entire team are amazing and delivered exactly what they promised! It started with a creative design utilizing all the good things the space had to offer, taking my ideas and wish list in consideration and creating a design that is functional and will stand the test of time! Had a few delays due to bad weather but his team were always on time and provided me with weekly communication. I was always kept in the loop. What can I say - " I love my new backyard!" I've looked at Houzz for many years and when it was time for my kitchen remodel I reacherd out to Houzz for contractors in my area and you recommended Go Design, Thank you for rthat recomdation. I had to think for a while on how to write this review. Usually, I do not write reviews. Go Design was the fifth company I spoke too to design and build my outdoor space. During my first meeting with George Ocampo, I knew this was the right company for the job. The relax exchange and no pressure to do everything at once inspire confident. George listened to our wishes and incorporated them into a grand design. During the construction, prosses, George, and Pete were always available to answer our questions. Upon completion, it was more than we expected. The lines and details are superb. The attention to detail from George, Pete, and their team delivers a functional and relaxing outdoor space. If you are looking for brilliant design, quality, and service Go Design will deliver and in the end, will exceed your expectations.

We had a sandstone flagstone patio. Put in. Within 2 years it was flaking and disintegrating. We found GO Designs near my work with flagstone outside. George Ocampo educated us in better and more stable flagstone options. GO designs brings to El Paso another level of design and professional stone masonry. We HIGHLY recommend them. Repeat, HIGHLY.
