Granoff Architects, established in 1989, is a full-service design firm dedicated to providing outstanding client service and achieving excellence in architecture. We have a team of over twenty professionals at our Greenwich, CT offices. We work on a wide variety of projects in four integrated disciplines: residential architecture, commercial architecture, landscape architecture and interior design. Our design philosophy is balanced between respect for the past and excitement about the future, which has resulted in work of great variety, vitality and enduring quality. Our practice has flourished and grown. We are well known for the design of unique homes, corporate offices, multi-family developments, and spectacular landscapes. We credit our success to the close and long-term relationships we have with our clients. We conduct our work with energy and enthusiasm, challenging ourselves to make each project even better than the last. We exercise our imagination, see problems from multiple perspectives and resist being limited to a single architectural style. At Granoff Architects, we believe that "Green" design is critical and incorporate sustainable strategies into each of our projects. I have been working with Rich Granoff and his firm Granoff Architects for nearly 25 years. I have watched the firm grow from 2 employees to more than 20 over that span. As a professional builder and real estate developer I was initially drawn to Granoff due to the unique combination of creativity and (construction related) practicality. What I mean is that Granoff understands construction, not just design. As a developer I have hired Granoff on more than a dozen occasions for projects ranging from simple addition/renovations to larger "estate" homes. The process has always been smooth, professional, fun and, most importantly, successful. As the firm has grown, the benefits of working with Rich and his team have grown as well. A larger staff allows Rich to better pair a clients style with that of the design professional in his office. It has also added to the overall book of knowledge and menu of services available. He has a talented group that includes everything from interior design to landscape architecture. These are valuable resources that add value whether it's "one stop shopping" or merely getting a simple opinion. Granoff has set themselves apart from the rest of the market by desiging Architecturally significant homes. Very easy to work with, responsive, and up to date on the latest technology. Overall, the best experience we have had in 35 years with an Architectural firm.

We hired Granoff Architects to design from scratch and oversee construction of a substantial beach house, cabana, pool and landscaping on the south shore of Long Island in a modernist style. From the beginning, Andreas and Shanna had the vision, creativity, expertise and patience to deliver a stunning product and to bring solutions to difficult zoning, flood protection and other site issues. We are now in the middle of construction and the team has been incredible to work with.

My wife and I hired Granoff Architects to design our new home in Greenwich CT. We interviewed several Architectural firms in the area and after several interviews and recommendations from friends we decided to hire Granoff for their full-service approach and previous experience. Having Architects, designers and landscape architects made the process so much easier and smooth. Andreas and Chris where really personable and professional. They manage to reflect in their drawings our dreams. Our expectations where greatly exceeded. I will definitely recommend this excellent team to anyone planning to build or renovate a home.

Hired firm to design a 4 level home in Greenwich, CT. Began working with the firm in February 2014. Construction started July 2014 with a move in date set for August 2015. Utilized the full range of services offered by the firm including decorator, landscape architect, architectural oversight during construction. Firm members are very respectful of a female client. Experience thus far is excellent. The depth of the bench at the firm is outstanding. This home will be spectacular when completed!

We hired Granoff Architects to design and build our home. In hindsight this was the best decision we made. Rich and his team were professional, courteous and resourceful. The team listened to our ideas, ambitions, budgetary and time constraints. They came up with unique solutions to accomplish our goals within the constraints. Rich helped us chose a competent contractor. Rich and his team were at the project site at least once a week, overseeing and approving the work. Net result was that we have a great house, built in record time and only slightly above our budget. We highly recommend Rich and his team. Based on our recommendation, some of our friends have hired Granoff Architects and they have not been disappointed.
