Owner, Bob Card, created Greenwood Bay in 2009. Since it's inception, Greenwood Bay has been crafting the Gulf Coast's best furniture for individual and commercial clients and leading designers. Our handcrafted custom pieces are each hand made in Houston's eclectic EaDo district, and are designed to be both beautiful and functional. We seek the best, most beautiful wood from small mills and other independent sources around the country to provide our clients the widest assortment of unique and specialty woods available. Because we make our own pieces, we can offer unlimited options, allowing our clients to find furniture to perfectly match their needs and budget. We incorporate traditional and innovative joinery with contemporary “urban organic” design to produce pieces that will be loved for years to come. All of our finishes are earth-friendly and non-toxic. Bob’s long-time passion and commitment to client satisfaction drives his work. “I grew up working with wood in my dad’s basement workshop.
