Gretchen Evans Design

Gretchen has helped me on two homes and I can't wait to work with her again! She is knowledgeable, met my timelines and made suggestions that helped me work around architectural and design challenges. She listened to understand my style preferences and suggested choices that met my wants and stayed within budget. Thanks to Gretchen I ended up with stunning results that reflected my personality!

We had a house fire and had to rebuild our home. Gretchen's initial suggestions were creative, insightful, and helpful. All of her ideas that we implemented were "spot on." She helped us create a home that is current, unique and reflective of our tastes. Gretchen has a wonderful designer "eye." She was responsive, patient, understanding and professional. We love our home every time we open the door and so do our visitors!

Gretchen did an amazing job picking up where our architect left off. She designed all elevations for our kitchen, baths and living spaces and really captured the traditional aesthetic we were going for. She worked with our contractor and other subs with incredible attention to detail and professionalism. We worked with Gretchen for over a year on a house rebuild that was well beyond the scope of anything that we'd previously done and she made the entire project much more manageable! She made decisions on our behalf an was on the job site more then we were, at times! We ended up over budget (doesn't everyone?) which was due in part to the scope of the project changing and the cost of labor/materials. In hind site, I wish I'd known that "custom" would cost as much more as it did! But, in the end, our beautiful home is exactly what we wanted and Gretchen helped make it all a reality! It's GORGEOUS and timeless and suites our lifestyle and family!
