Karen is a wonderful person. I’ve known Karen for a decade maybe longer. She has designed my PA house and now my FL house. Karen is always thinking about your design - communication is excellent. Her ideas are great and she’s always aware of the budget. She’s very thoughtful of your personal preferences and sentimentality. Most of all, Karen designs what you will love and imprints every design with her heart and soul. I’ve tried other designers because of logistics and no one comes close to Karen.

Karen was amazing helping me find a good layout for my awkward living room! What a transformation! She helped me find the right accessories to bring it all together, like an area rug, end tables, curtains, without breaking the bank. Highly recommend! Grey Heron Interiors is THE BEST ***** Designer Karen, has helped me with several projects. My WHOLE house flows, she made it make sense. She has a VERY unique eye for fabrics which transforms everything into a rich design. I can't even brag enough about the complements I receive on my kitchen. It is beautiful and timeless. My family room has a clean, comfy feel to it. She provides swatches for fabric, wood and hardware. Oh and the best part.. you get a Digital layout of the room! You feel like you're on a home show!!

I posted a question in "Design Dilemma" on Houzz. I needed help with my master bedroom and bath paint color. Not only did Karen offer suggestions, she had Benjamin Moore to send me 8 x 8 samples of the colors she recommended. I received eight of the squares for each paint color. Her help was tremendous, and my husband and I absolutely love the color we chose. Who knew one could find the perfect paint color just from posting a few pictures. I was extremely fortunate that Karen saw my post and offered her help. I wish we lived closer so I could have her come to my home to help me with some rooms, but I live in Georgia. I would highly recommend her. Thank you, Karen.

Our first contact with Karen was almost ten years ago when we asked her to design our family room. The brown and dreary room became light and airy and is a beautiful focal point when you enter our home. We have used Karen for three projects ( and now beginning our fourth)! She designed and orchestrated a MAJOR renovation of our kitchen. She took the lead with EVERY part of the project, including finding the best contractor for the renovation and being the contact person when they had questions. Who knew there were so many choices to make for drawer pulls and kitchen faucets? She gives great attention to every little detail. Karen was ALWAYS just a phone call away (even on nights and weekends). She made sure that she knew our style and color preferences, and our new kitchen is everything we wished for. One year later, we just finished our living room which Karen designed to be kid & pet friendly - a warm and inviting room for family gatherings. We are now ready for her to help us update our entryway. She has offered lots of ideas and color schemes to blend in with the other rooms. One last point- in the 10 years since we updated our family room, she moved almost 200 miles away. The kitchen renovation and living room project went off without a hitch. She has fabulous ideas, and always gave us choices that reflected our personal style preferences. Karen is truly wonderful to work with- highly recommend her work

Grey Heron has helped me with a few projects; window treatments in living/dining rooms, paint colors & furniture placement for guest bedroom and a total remodel of my teenage son's room. Karen is extremely easy to work with, especially since most of our communications are through email and phone conferences.
