My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Gail is the best! I bought my first condo in December last year and I had an idea of what I wanted, but looking for furniture, artwork, and other pieces for a first home is very overwhelming! Gail picked out the most beautiful pieces for my space and helped my vision become a reality. She is one of the most thorough, detail-oriented professionals I have ever worked with.

Our project was a complete redesign of an upstairs attic space. Our intent is to turn a poorly finished space into our dream master bedroom suite. Gail was a pleasure to work with. She met with us personally at our home to discuss in great detail our vision for the space and to take measurements. She was able to address every single one of our needs within the strict parameters and limiting factors of our home. Gail's creativity and personality enabled her to meet those needs and even to provide features we didn't even know that we wanted! Gail was professional, friendly and timely in all of her in person and email correspondence. We could not be happier with the designs. We would highly recommend her for any project and have referred her to our own personal friends.

I have worked with Gail at GSB Designs on several projects including a gut bathroom renovation, living room modernization, and transforming my daughter’s room for her teen years. During each of these projects, Gail was able to translate my vision into a beautiful, practical, and supremely usable space. She heard what I was (inadequately!) trying to say and give it substance. She was also respectful of my budget. I will be using her services again when I move into my next home!

I cannot speak highly enough of Gail of GSB Designs. I have worked with Gail on several projects over the years - some as small as choosing a paint color and more recently, she helped update my kitchen. It went from outdated to stunning under her guidance. Gail is a talented designer who brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to projects. She is well versed in knowing good resources for both furnishings and wall treatments. She has excellent color sense and provides fine guidance in color choices that pull a room together. Her designs make the best use of the dimensions, size, and layout of a room, enhancing its features. She listened well and ensured that the designs for both the kitchen and living room reflected my desire for light airy decor and colors. I had a collection of unhung paintings by a local artist, and she turned that into the highlight of the room. She effectively supervised the contractor and his crew in the remodeling of both rooms. Her designs continue to give me great pleasure year round.
